Raw comes to us from the WWE Performance Center.
Raw kicks off with us being introduced by Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, and Samoa Joe.
In-Ring Segment: Randy Orton
Orton says last night at Backlash he did exactly what he said he was going to do, embarrass, humiliate, and write the final chapter in Edge’s story. He says he also gave him closure. He says that he knew when he saw Edge at the Royal Rumble he knew he wasn’t going to be the competitor he used to be back in the day. He says he wanted to help Edge and all Edge had to do was trust him just like he trusted Edge when he saved him from his own self-destruction. He says he won the greatest wrestling match ever and that makes him the greatest wrestler ever and he doesn’t need a WWE title to prove it. He then thanks Edge for igniting that fire in his gut and tells that Edge reminded him what it felt like to be the legend killer. He says he wishes Edge was here so he could thank him face to face and man to man but he knows why he is not here. He then talks about Edge’s injury and knowing that Edge was injured but he wanted to make him suffer and he knew it’d send Edge home to his wife and daughter’s. He then jokes about Edge being out until 2029. Orton is then cut off by Christian!
Christian asks Orton what kind of man he is out here gloating. He says Orton thinks he is the greatest wrestler and the legend killer. Chrisitan then tells him he is cold and calculated and a son of a bitch. He tells that Edge’s story isn’t over and when the time comes Edge will get the closure on his terms and no one else’s, he says Edge is coming back. Orton tells Christian it is not about him and it has never been about him. He then tells Christian he is jealous. He then tells Christian he knows he wants one more match. Christian says absolutely not. Orton says Christian and Edge are both the same and he knows they both didn’t want to walk away before they were ready to leave. Orton then says he knows Christian can’t medically compete but he has a way around it, an unsanctioned match tonight. He then tells Christian that the offer expires tonight and if he doesn’t accept that proves he is nothing more than a coward.
My Opinion:
No surprise in the things Orton had to say about Edge. everything he said came true and without Edge here to stop him for now, this allows Orton to gloat and live on this big victory. I hope we do see a change in Orton after this and he can go back to being the Legend Killer. He did a lot of great things when that was his mindset and I’d love to see a return of that. I think we could see a little taste of that if Christian accepts Orton’s challenge. However, it doesn’t seem like it would be a smart move for Christian. Overall though I’m very excited to see what this can do for Orton and maybe we will see him back in some more heated feuds going forward.
Backstage Segment: Angel Garza & Zelina Vega
Charly welcomes Angel Garza and Zelina Vega and says before we get to the interview let’s take a look at what happened last night at Backlash. They then show the match between Andrade and Apollo Crews. Vega says there are no arguments here and on cost anyone the championship. Garza says he was trying to help and when you care about something you have to be willing to let it go. He says he knows Andrade will get over it. He says he feels for Kevin Owens. Vega says again Garza is going to prove he is then inferior. Garza then asks when he wins if Charly will meet him in the ring for a special interview. Andrade then comes up and wishes him luck and says he hopes he beats Kevin Owens and if he doesn’t he hopes he gets over his disappointment.
Match 1: Kevin Owens vs Angel Garza w/ Zelina Vega
Owens goes right after the knee of Garza as the match begins. He grabs Garza and throws him into the corner. Andrade then makes his way to ringside. Owens kicks Garza and continues the beat down. Garza fights back but Owens stays with it. He grabs the pants of Garza and uses them as a distraction. Garza then goes to the floor. Garza then gets up on the apron but Owens is able to neutralize him. Owens sends Garza to the floor. Andrade tries to pick him up but Garza argues with Andrade. Vega tells them she is sick of this and storms off as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, Garza has taken control in the ring. He has Owens in the corner and looks for a bronco buster but Owens moves out of the way. Owens now has him down in the corner and he hits him with a series of chops. Garza goes to the apron and knocks down Owens. He then goes to the top rope and hits a dropkick. He covers but Owens kicks out. Garza now focuses on the banged up right leg of Owens. Owens gets to his feet and he hits Garza with big rights to the face. Garza is caught up on the ropes but Owens gets distracted by Andrade. Andrade comes on the apron and argues with the ref. Garza gets distracted now and it allows Owens to hit him with the Stunner. Owens gets the 1 2 3 on the cover.
After the match, Vega tells them they need to start fighting together and that they want the same things. She then tells them let’s go. Garza tries to plead with her but they both follow her up the ramp.
Winner: Kevin Owens
My Opinion:
Tension is definitely at an all-time high between Garza and Andrade. It seems to me Garza wants a lot more respect than Andrade is willing to give. Garza has what it takes to make it on his own but the question will be if he will actually break away from Vega and Andrade. I think Vega sees the strengths in numbers but only time will tell how long she can keep them together. They might both want the same thing but the problem is that it seems to be something that is individual.
Backstage Segment: MVP & Lashley
MVP tells Lashley going forward he will have everything he promised him. Sara comes up and asks about the match last night. MVP says this is off the record and between them. MVP then tells her to go back to journalism school. Lashley says they are trying to talk strategy for their match. She then asks about Lana. MVP says Lashley was cheated out of the title and says they are going to address that right now.
In-Ring Segment: MVP & Bobby Lashley
MVP says last night after 13 years this man, this once in a lifetime athlete who should be WWE Champion had his night ruined and Drew McIntyre had the gull to capitalize on it. He then says Lana is to blame for Bobby Lashley not being champion as she distracted him last night. He says if McIntyre had any integrity he would have given him a rematch on the spot but he is hiding behind someone’s wife who was told specifically not to be at ringside. Here comes Lana.
Lana says it was Bobby who decided to not have her ringside. She says she does everything for Bobby including putting his career first, get a divorce, and dye her hair. Lana says MVP is the problem. MVP calls her a thot and continues to blame her. Lana tells him to never speak to her like that and says she is a woman and to treat her with respect. Lana then tells Bobby before MVP came along they were on a hot streak. Lashley asks her the last time she laced up a pair of boots. He says he is sick of her and continues to blame her. He then says she broadcasted their sex life and used him to get more famous. Lana says if she was going to use someone to get famous she would have picked someone more famous. She then says she should have slept with Drew. Lashley then tells her he wants a divorce.
My Opinion:
Lashley definitely seems like he has had enough but on the same token, Lana should have had enough as well. She hasn’t changed how she is and Lashley should have known what he was getting himself into before. I think it is best for both of them to go their separate ways and see which one of them does better. I’m not sure what this will mean for Lana though as she is more of a manger than a wrestler but I hope she will find someplace. As for Lashley, there is no doubt he will continue on being a main event player but we will see if MVP can help him secure that big win in the future.
Backstage Segment: The Viking Raiders & Street Profits
Ford says they came together to fight off the ninjas. They then unite as the VikingProfits. Tozawa comes up to them with his group of ninjas. He then calls for a sequel which is agreed on. The big ninja then showed up to the group. Tozawa then laughs at them and then walks off after Erik had to be held back. Ford tells them he has an idea of what to do.
Match 2: The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) & The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs Akira Tozawa & The Ninjas
Erik starts off the match against one of the ninjas and sends him flying. Dawkins tags in and he and Erik double team the ninja. Another one comes in now and he is met with a dropkick from Ford. Ivar comes in and drops Ford on the ninja. Two of them come in now and they are hit with a cash-out from Dawkins and a spinebuster from Erik. Ivar and Ford then fly off the top to his big splashes. They cover and get the 1 2 3.
After the match, Tozawa calls in the big ninja. The Profits and Raiders stand tall and say they want the smoke. Here comes the Big Show! The ninjas go after Show but he fights them off. He then hits a chokeslam on one of them and a KO Punch on another. Tozawa and the big ninja stand on the entrance and back away from the ring.
Winners: The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) & The Viking Raiders (Erik &Ivar)
My Opinion:
These two teams definitely have a lot of fun together and it is entertaining. The Big Show made it that much better and it was a nice surprise. However, I still believe these top two teams should be doing more than this. They shouldn’t be the teams partaking in the fun because it takes away from the seriousness of the tag division. I know they make the most of it and it shows but I hope they can get more serious soon. There are so many great tag teams to be used on Raw and I think this division could be killer if given the chance. They obviously put a lot of thought into these two teams but it doesn’t seem to be in the most constructive way that will help them ignite this division.
Backstage Segment: Seth Rollins
Charly asks for Seth’s reaction that Dominick is going to be here. Rollins says no one has seen him but he can sense that he is here. He says Dominick needs to be here and he wants him to be here because right now he is going to the ring to deliver a message to his father, the living legend, Rey Mysterio.
Backstage Segment: Christian
Christian is on the phone and says he knows all the risks involved. He says he doesn’t know what he is going to do but he doesn’t think he can let Randy get away with this one.
In-Ring Segment: Seth Rollins
Rollins says last week he came out here and sat where Byron Saxton is sitting and kindly invited Rey Mysterio to come to Raw this week and yes Rey is not technically medically cleared but he wanted to have a conversation and clear the air on this situation. He says Rey is a hero and sacrifices himself for the greater good of Monday Night Raw. He says sadly Rey declined the invitation and took the cowards way out but fortunately Rey’s son Dominick has made his way to Raw on behalf of the Mysterio’s family. Rey comes on the screen and tells Seth to hear him out. Rey says he couldn’t stop Dominick but pleads with Rollins not to hurt him because he knows what he is capable of. Rollins says he doesn’t want to hurt him, he wants to help him. He tells Rey to help him help Dominick. He tells Rey to encourage Dominick to join him. Rey says Dominick will never join him under any circumstances.
Rollins says he isn’t leaving him with many options. He says if Dominick isn’t part of the solution then he is part of the problem and he must be sacrificed. Rey tells Seth if he touches him he will end him. Rollins tells Rey he doesn’t make the choices for Dominick. He says he has two roads to take, stand by him, and stand on the right side of history or make the choice of becoming a sacrifice. Rollins says he wants to thank Rey. Dominick then attacks Rollins from behind. Theory and Murphy come out and Dominick is able to get in the ring away from them. He then takes it to Murphy and Theory. He is able to jump the barricade and get out before they get to him.
My Opinion:
That was awesome for Dominick! He went in and did exactly what he needed to do and sent a message to Rollins and his disciples. Dominick definitely needs to keep picking his spots for now until he gets more backup but he sure got one back for team Mysterio. I’m excited to see what he continues to do and I hope this will lead to his first match in WWE with his dad by his side. This story is getting good and I can’t wait to see the fall-out from this!
Backstage Segment: Bobby Lashley & MVP & R-Truth
MVP tells Lashley he will be WWE Champion. R-Truth comes up to them and says he wants to give his consoles, no, his condominiums. MVP says your condolences. R-Truth says no that’s not it. He says he feels bad for Lashley getting sent to Claymore country and says he must be jet-lagged. He then says now you’re getting a divorce. Lashley says you want to make jokes on my behalf, you are sure about that. Truth says yes because he is teaming with the WWE Champion. Lashley says he doesn’t see him around right now. Truth then runs away from Lashley.
Backstage Segment: MVP & Lashley & Drew McIntyre & R-Truth
MVP and Lashley go looking for Truth. Truth comes out from under the ring and says a ninja is trying to get his baby. McIntyre comes up beside him. MVP tells McIntyre he may have left with the championship but he doesn’t see a champion, he sees a pretender. He then says Lashley is still the contender. McIntyre says MVP is all talk and he is full of falses promises. MVP tells him if he had integrity he would put his title on the line. He says you are too clown (R-Truth). He says put the titles on the line in a winner take all. Truth says they will do it. McIntyre tries to stop him but Lashley says you having second thoughts? I thought the chosen one didn’t back away from a fight. McIntyre says they’re on. Truth says think about this by the end of the night, I could be the new Becky 2 Belts. McIntyre tells him that’s not what winner takes all means.
Match 3: Liv Morgan & Natalya vs The IIConics (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay)
Royce and Morgan start the match. Natalya ants in and comes in but this allows Royce to hit her with a big right. Kay comes in and they stay on the offensive. Kay tries to put Natalya away but she kicks out. Morgan gets in the match and almost has it won but the ref is distracted. The IIconics are able to hit a double team on Liv and put her away for the 1 2 3.
***The IIconics then challenge Sasha and Bayley to a Women’s Tag Team Championship match. They then say they know somebody who can make the match for next week. They then say it will be iconic.
Winners: The IIconics (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay)
My Opinion:
Kay and Royce are definitely working well together and they’ve been impressive since coming back. I think they will get another shot at the title but they need to capitalize on it. Opportunities won’t come around every day so this could be their last chance for a while if they lose this one. They would make great champions as they have in the past but they have to be used right. I love their fire and passion for women’s tag team wrestling and I hope they get the chance to keep putting that on the map.
Backstage Segment: Christian & The Big Show
Show tells Christina it is no coincidence Randy is asking for an unsanctioned match, it’s not because it’s the only way around you competing, it’s because he can do whatever he wants to do. Christian asks if he is saying he should turn him down. Big Show says no that’s not what he’s saying, he’s the last person who would tell him what to do. The two go back and forth until Christian tells him he knows what he has to do.
Backstage Segment: Natalya & Liv Morgan & Lana
Natalya says she is trying to keep her cool but tells Liv she made rookie mistakes out there. She says she lacked vision out there and says she totally gets why Ruby Riott let her go. Natalya says there is no respect, she says she built this division for a bunch of ingrates and she gets nothing out of it. Lana comes up and says you think you have it bad? She says she was supposed to be married to the world champion right now. She says she gave everything to her Bobby and in return, she got a divorce. She says she is tired of being blamed for everyone’s shortcomings. Natalya says she gets it, she knows how she feels.
Christian:
Charly asks Christian if he will accept Randy’s challenge. Christian talks about how Orton called him a coward. Christian says he is proud of his WWE career and has nothing to prove to Randy Orton or anyone else but he won’t be disrespected. He says if Randy Orton wants to give him one more match, he accepts.
Backstage Segment: MVP & Apollo Crews
MVP tells Apollo he is proud of him. MVP tells him it’s about fighting the right person at the right time for the right about money. He tells him he survived Andrade and now he has to take on Shelton Benjamin. He tells him when you fight all these people you find yourself burning out and what he needs is someone who can manage those pitfalls. Crews tells him if he is not a fighting champion then he’s not a real champion. Crews declines his offer but MVP tells him the only way he’ll keep the championship is with him in his corner.
Backstage Segment: Charlotte & Ric Flair
Ric tells Charlotte he loves coming here. Ric asks Charlotte what her plan is. He asks her if someone is getting under her skin. She says a lot of people do. She adds that she does what she wants. She gives a wooo and Ric gives her a thumbs up.
Match 4: Apollo Crews (c) vs Shelton Benjamin:
United States Championship Match
Benjamin works a headlock as the two start the match. Crews sends him off the ropes but he is met with a shoulder tackle. Benjamin tries to put him away but Crews kicks out. Benjamin stays on the offensive and works a huge German suplex. Benjamin hits him with a huge knee. He tries to put him away but Crews kicks out. Benjamin now works a half nelson. Crews fights to his feet and the two trade rights. Crews takes over but Benjamin stops him with a knee. Crews stays with it and takes him down. He hits a standing moonsault but it’s not enough to put him away. Benjamin tries a roll-up and uses the ropes for leverage but he gets caught by the ref. Crews takes advantage and rolls-up Benjamin grabbing onto the rope for leverage. He gets the 1 2 3.
Winner: Apollo Crews: Still United States Champion
My Opinion:
Another successful defense for Crews and this time he walked away pretty quickly. I do agree he should slow down with defenses as you never know which one will be your last. I think Crews is fine standing on his own but it would be smart waiting for big feuds to come along rather than risking the title each week. Crews though is a fighter and he showed tonight he will do what it takes to win. I enjoy watching him just hope no one catches him off guard one of these times like with past champions before.
Backstage Segment: R-Truth & McIntyre
Truth comes up to Tozawa and the ninjas who now have a ninja ref. McIntyre comes up behind Truth. Truth tells them he is going to kick all of them. McIntyre pulls him away and tells Truth what he did out there was out of order. He says what is done is done. He then asks Truth if he understands the gravity of this situation. He says they could lose everything. Truth says he understands and he knows what to do.
Backstage Segment: Asuka
Charly asks Asuka if Nia is too menacing for her to handle. Asuka says Nia Jax started this fight, Asuka will finish it.
Backstage Segment: Drew McIntyre & R-Truth
Truth tells McIntyre he fixed it. He says the one and only title that will be on the line tonight in their match tonight will be the WWE title. He says it made sense to him. McIntyre says if you get pinned I lose my championship? Truth tells him to believe in him. He says he knows how painful it is to lose a championship. Truth tells him he will never let that happen to him.
Backstage Segment: The Street Profits & The Viking Raiders
Ford asks how they’re going to settle this. Erik suggests a chariot race for next week. Show and they thank him for his help tonight. Show says he has enjoyed their rivalry and suggest to the two teams they face for the titles next week. The two teams agree. Show then says we want the smoke. He offers a new way to say we want the smoke, offering a 70’s riff to it like we want the funk.
Match 5: Drew McIntyre (c) & R-Truth vs Bobby Lashley & MVP:
If McIntyre’s Team Loses He Loses The WWE Championship
McIntyre and Lashley lock up to start the match. McIntyre backs him into the corner and is backed off by the ref. McIntyre comes back with huge chops. He then tosses Lashley into the opposite corner. Lashley comes out hot but McIntyre stops him with a Glasgow Kiss and a clothesline. Lashley fights back and gets him in the corner. Lashley backs him in here and stays on the offensive. He then drives his shoulder into the midsection of McIntyre. MVP comes in but McIntyre is able to fight them off and hit Lashley with a spinebuster. Lashley goes to the floor. McIntyre takes down MVP. McIntyre looks for the Claymore but Truth tags in. Truth catches MVP. MVP works a tag and in comes Lashley.MVP takes Truth down. Lashley then lays him out on the floor as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, Lashley takes it to Truth in the ring. Lashley hits him with a big elbow and then drives his boot into his neck. Lashley hits Truth in the midsection. MVP tags in and he works Truth in the corner. MVP covers but Truth kicks out. MVP misses on the big boot. Truth then hits a big kick of his own. McIntyre gets the tag and so does Lashley. McIntyre takes him down. He then hits a belly to belly. He is hit with an elbow but he stays with it and hits another suplex. He then knocks MVP to the floor. McIntyre is able to take Lashley out on the floor. MVP tries to steal one but McIntyre kicks out. McIntyre hits MVP with the Claymore. He tags in Truth and launches Truth on MVP. Truth covers and gets the 1 2 3.
Winners: Drew McIntyre & R-Truth: McIntyre Is Still WWE Champion
My Opinion:
That was scary for McIntyre but thankfully he was able to hang on and we even had a feel-good moment with Truth picking up the victory. It is safe to say that is the last time McIntyre will get himself into that position but he has the title and now the question will be what is next. It doesn’t seem to me that Lashley is going to be going away. I feel like this is just the beginning for McIntyre and things could get tougher in the coming weeks. I’m excited to see where this goes though especially with Extreme Rules around the corner. We certainly could see a huge match up there between these two powerhouses.
Backstage Segment: Ric Flair & Christian
Flair comes up to Christian and tells him he is not ready for this. He says he gets why he’s doing it but Orton is on top of his game, he is mean and sadistic and he wants to prove a point. Christian says he respects him and gets what he is trying to do. Ric says everyone will forgive him if he doesn’t go out there. Christian says he appreciates Ric but he is going out there.
In-Ring Segment: Sasha Banks & Bayley
Bayley tells how she and Sasha successfully defend their tag team championships and they are in the mood to celebrate. Bayley says they have a little more to celebrate because it is her birthday. Bayley says they thought they’d make it a birthday celebration week. She says they will start tonight on Raw and then Wednesday they will take a trip to NXT and whoop Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart. She says they will cap it off on SmackDown. Banks then tells the IIconis to never tell them when they will be defending their tag titles. The IIconcis then come out.
They say that no one wants another reading of their resumes but everyone wants an answer to their challenge. The IIconics continue to poke at the tag champs as they get in the ring. Royce tells them they couldn’t handle the pressure at WrestleMania and they can’t handle it now. Royce then pushes Banks. Bayley asks what the hell they are doing running their birthday. She then accepts in a fit of rage.
My Opinion:
I don’t know if Banks and Bayley are putting too much on their shoulders but it is appreciated as the tag titles are finally getting the attention they deserve. I just hope these titles stay in the spotlight because there is a lot that can be done with them. They finally feel like they have meaning again and as I said appreciate the desire Kay and Royce have for them. I’m excited to see how this goes for Banks and Bayley this week and for another title match next Monday!
***Rey Mysterio returns to Raw next week!
Match 6: Asuka (c) vs Nia Jax:
Raw Women’s Championship Match
Asuka starts with a dropkick but it doesn’t phase Jax and she hits a big clothesline. Jax takes her down to the canvas. She grabs the arm of Asuka but Asuka is able to counter. She tries to work an armbar but Jax fights out. Asuka looks for the hip attack but Jax catches her. She gets her up for a Samoan Drop on the apron but Asuka counters. Jax comes into the ring and is met with a series of kicks. Jax is able to take control and knockdown Asuka. Asuka tries again for the armbar but can’t secure it. Jax catches her on the outside with a powerbomb after Asuka misses on a kick on the apron.
As Raw returns, Nia has Asuka on her shoulders. Asuka is able to fight off. She is able to hit double knees and then another strike to Jax. she covers but Jax kicks out. Asuka goes up top but she is met with a big forearm strike. Jax goes up top and looks for the Samoan Drop but Asuka fights off. She hits Jax and gets her hung up. She hits a double stomp to the midsection but it’s not enough to put her away. Asuka now hits her with another series of kicks. Jax is able to block and hit a huge headbutt. She hits the Samoan Drop and covers but Asuka’s foot is under the bottom rope. Jax out of rage shoves the official. The ref goes to call for the bell but Asuka rolls up Jax and the ref counts the 1 2 3.
Winner: Asuka: Still Raw Women’s Champion
My Opinion:
A great performance from Asuka as she fought very hard in this one giving Jax all she had. Jax obviously let the anger get the better of herself and that’s ultimately what cost her. I know Jax is going to want another shot at the title but if these two want to settle this score once and for all, maybe a no disqualification just a straight-up fight would be the best. Then we would get a clear cut winner and I think that match would deliver big time.
Backstage Segment: Randy Orton
Charly asks comes up to Randy and sys you’re probably well aware Chrisitan accepted your unsanctioned match. Randy asks Charly if she thinks Christian is a legend. She says absolutely. He says he thinks he is one to and then says unsanctioned means no rules, anything goes, and this means the legend of Christian will be destroyed by the three most destructive letters in sports entertainment. RKO.
Unsanctioned Match: Randy Orton vs Christian
***Before the match here comes Ric Flair. Flair tells Christian to let it go, he has nothing to prove to anybody. Christian tells Flair he has to do this.
The match gets underway and Flair turns around and gives Christian a low blow. Orton then hits him with the punt. Orton lays out Christian. He then rolls him over and covers him for the 1 2 3.
***After the match, Orton tells Chrisitan he is sorry and he is sorry he came here. He tells Christian you didn’t want to do this and neither did I. Why are you here? The medical staff come out now and get ready to put Christian on a stretcher. Orton tells Christian he didn’t want to do this. They go back like he and Edge do but you’re here. Orton says he finished the last chapter of Edge’s redemption and he didn’t want to end Christian but he had to because he came here and interrupted him. He says he didn’t mean for this to happen but this is his livelihood and he can’t let him interrupt or destroy his livelihood. He tells Christian if it was going to be him if it was going to be one of them. He apologies again as Raw goes off the air.
Winner: Randy Orton
My Opinion:
Wow, that was an unexpected and crazy way to end the night. I didn’t think Flair would turn on Christian like that but that was one heck of a twist. I don’t think Christian should have been in there but it was a fight and he was disrespected. Orton did exactly what we expected him to do. Orton is on another level right now and whoever steps in his path better watch out. I’m not sure where this goes next but I’m highly intrigued and I can’t wait to see what comes next!!!
Final Thoughts:
A very entertaining night on Raw, there were a lot of twists and turns and there was an excitement to it throughout the night that has been missing. The big story of the night was Randy Orton and Christian. I was surprised to see Christian get back in the ring and unfortunately, Orton did what we expected. The big twist was Ric Flair with the low blow. I’m excited to see where Orton goes next and how this story will unfold. This should be very exciting going forward! Also, I loved what we saw from Dominick Mysterio tonight. He held his own and had an amazing showing for himself. I hope he is here next week when Rey returns and we can see this father and son tag team in the future when Rey is cleared! I thought the women tonight all around killed it. I love what we are seeing now for the tag team titles.
I thought Asuka and Nia delivered and I’m very interested to see a big heel turn from Natalya! I’m excited we will get a tag team title match next week between The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders. It’s about time to get it on and it should be a great one. It was also awesome to see Big Show back, I hope we see him more in the future! Finally, I love what MVP has been doing with Bobby Lashley. I think this feud with McIntyre is great and they bring out the best in each other. I can’t wait to see where this goes next as it is far from over. Overall it was a great night for the red brand and I hope to see more nights like this going forward. As always I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and enjoys NXT, and SmackDown this week!
Overall Rating: 7/10
