AEW All Out 2019 Predictions
Hello Misfits! This is “The Wrestling Classic” Justin here with my predictions for All Elite Wrestlings “All Out” pay-per-view this upcoming weekend. This is what I would technically call AEW’s second major PPV but too many its their fourth when you consider Fight for the Fallen and Fyter Fest which I thought of more as special events. There are even people who include “All In” as an AEW event, which would make this their fifth major event, even though it was a show that took place before All Elite Wrestling was even a thing. Regardless this is the last major event before All Elite Wrestling debuts their weekly show on TNT starting this Fall. This is their last effort to secure the fans they already have but also bring in new fans through the success and buzz from this show. Basically this is their last chance to make a first impression before the weekly show which will leave its own impression. They are heading back to where it all began with “All In” in Chicago at the Sears Center. Lets go down the card so I can give you guys my thoughts and predictions.
Private Party vs. Angélico and Jack Evans

This match is on the pre-show which you should be able to stream live on YouTube and BRLive (maybe). Honestly, I find these two teams more entertaining than the teams that are involved the AEW Tag Team Title match. Angelico and Jack Evans might wear too much neon but their in-ring ability is undeniable. Private Party seem to have a gimmick that we’ve seen frequently but it’s what they do in the ring that really makes them stand out. I do feel like Angelico and Evans will be fine even in loss but AEW needs to protect their long-term investment in Private Party, therefore I see them picking up the victory. Their first big victory since officially being signed.
Prediction – Private Party
#1 Contendership for AEW Women’s Championship
Casino Battle Royale
Image via allelitewrestling.com
The winner of this match earns a shot at the AEW Women’s Championship on the first ever AEW show on TNT. Thus far the participants announced for this Casino Battle Royale are Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, Allie, Brandi Rhodes, Teal Piper, Ivelisse, Jazz, Big Swole, Sadie Gibbs and Awesome Kong. There are 11 other participants who haven’t been announced yet but considering the size of AEW women’s roster thus far, I’m sure we’re still in for some surprises. There are some surprising names involved already such as the fiery Ivelisse, Teal Piper (the daughter of the legendary “Rowdy” Roddy Piper) and a legend in her own right with Jazz. It’s hard for me to predict who’s going to win this. The easy predictions would be picking someone like Brandi Rhodes, Awesome Kong, Allie or Britt Baker but I feel like we’re in for a surprise winner. I’ll go with Britt Baker for now since it feels like she’s been the head of this division thus far.
Prediction – Britt Baker
Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy & Marko Stunt vs. SCU
Image via allelitewrestling.com
This match is going to be a fun one. SCU is already an established and proven group but this new stable of Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt is fresh. I am a big fan of the chemistry between Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy so far and I was really rooting for them to be gunning for tag team titles at this event. The addition of Marko Stunt is fun as it kind of makes them band of misfits. As much as I have been a long time fan of Kazarian, Daniels and Sky…I can’t help but root for the band of misfits. Therefore, I see Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt picking up the win after a VERY entertaining and fun match.
Prediction – Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy & Marko Stunt
Riho vs. Hikaru Shida
Image via allelitewrestling.com
I’m not going to lie, I am not that familiar with these two women. I know I’ve watched them wrestle before at “Fight for the Fallen” but other than that, I can’t really make a prediction based of their story, characters or even in ring ability. I guess I just have to take my chances here and make a prediction. I am going to say Riho picks up the victory.
Prediction – Riho
First Round Bye in the AEW Tag Team Tournament
The Dark Order vs. Best Friends
Image via allelitewrestling.com
The prize here is a first round bye in the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament. Personally, I’m not a fan of either teams. I never got behind Chuck Taylor and Baretta. As for the Dark Order, it might be too early to really judge them but I just don’t get it. Stu Grayson looks great and is some sort of viking character but Evil Uno is this masked lord or something? It’s confusing. This might be my own fault because I didn’t do much research on them ever, but I do know they have been teaming for years, are former PWG tag team champions and were previously known as the Super Smash Brothers. Considering this is for a bye in a tournament, I feel like that is more of an award a heel could capitalize off of so I have to go with the Dark Order picking up the victory.
Prediction – The Dark Order
Cracker Barrel Clash
Darby Allin vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Joey Janela
Image via allelitewrestling.com
What in the bluest of blue hells is a Cracker Barrel Clash? LOL This is already some wild booking with three wild guys. I’d hoping this ends up being some sort of street fight or hardcore match. All three of these superstars would shine in that sort of scenario since they’re all know to put their bodies on the line to entertain the people. I’m intrigued to see how this match plays out and what sort if stunts we’re going to see. Jimmy Havoc is dangerous and sadistic. Joey Janela is unpredictable and tougher than nails. Darby Allin is a rebel and has zero fear. Any one of these guys can win this unknown gimmick match. Both Janela and Havoc need a big victory but considering how he has been built up thus far, I’d put my money on Darby Allin.
Prediction – Darby Allin
Pac vs. Kenny Omega
Image via allelitewrestling.com
This match was originally supposed to be Kenny Omega facing off Jon Moxley so Omega could get retribution for Moxley’s attack on him at Double or Nothing and also the brawl at Fyter Fest. However, Moxley has suffered as staph infection which means he wasn’t medically cleared for the match and was forced to back out. When the VP’s had to find a replacement, they ended up giving us a dream match that we didn’t know we needed by choosing Pac. This might not be the match we were expecting but its a match we will surely enjoy. I have no idea if Pac is fully signed with AEW or just doing them another solid. If it is just another solid I dont see him beating Omega unless there is some sort of interference or something from Moxley to continue their feud. Therefore, my prediction is that Omega picks up the win after putting on a competitive classic.
Prediction – Kenny Omega
Cody vs. Shawn Spears w/ Tully Blanchard
Image via allelitewrestling.com
This rivalry has gotten really personal. If I can say anything about Cody matches since All In, he has given us some of the best straight up classic wrestling matches. He’s had the ability to make me care about each of his matches through the vintage storytelling and getting people invested through their “Road To” YouTube series. The gruesome looking chair shot from Fyter Fest that left Cody Rhodes in a pool of his own blood really kicked off this feud and we’ve been off to the races since then. Shawn Spears considered Cody a longtime friend but feels like Cody treats him with pity rather than an equal like his new friends. Shawn Spears wants to take Cody’s ego down a few pegs and found himself a mentor in the legendary Tully Blanchard. Up until this point Cody has won all of his matches besides the tag team match against the Young Bucks. Shawn Spears is a newer character to this audience and I feel like its very important that he picks up the victory here as we head into the weekly show to be considered one of the companies top heels.
Prediction – Shawn Spears
AAA World Tag team Championship
Ladder Match
The Young Bucks vs. The Lucha Brothers (C)
Image via allelitewrestling.com
The Young Bucks against The Lucha Brothers in a ladder match? Take my money right now! This match could and most likely will steal the show. For the past three years that I’ve known about Pentagon and Fenix, I can tell you I’m excited to see what sort of innovative offence they come up with in this ladder match. I have watched the Bucks for years now and I have seen them in countless of ladder matches. Including one with the ladder match legends, The Hardy Boyz. I have never been disappointed in a ladder match that I have seen the Young Bucks been involved in. This match is really going to be a banger. However, regardless how good the match will be, I really think the Young Bucks need to take the L here from the Lucha Brothers. They’ve won every match they have had on their own shows for their own company so far and that’s just not a good look. Now with that in mind, I have to go with the Lucha Brothers retaining and AEW moving away from this feud for the time being.
Prediction – The Lucha Bros
AEW World Championship
Hangman Page vs. Chris Jericho
Image via allelitewrestling.com
The match to crown the first ever AEW World Champion and its a clash of eras. It’s the legendary Chris Jericho taking on the young ambitious “Hangman” Adam Page to have the bragging rights to be called the first ever AEW Champion. Y2J wants this victory to add to his long list of accolades and achievements. Hangman Page believes he needs this victory because of the promises he’s made to the people and to himself. Page feels like this could be his one shot because he doesn’t win he’s at the back of the line again. Jericho believes the company needs to thank him and by being their champion, they can’t deny that he is the man. As much as I would love to see Jericho as AEW champion, I think the better storybook ending for this event is with Adam Page holding up the championship. I could definitely see how Jericho winning could lead to a rematch and the belt eventually getting on Page but I think this show needs a happy ending. Jericho could become champion one day even though it makes no difference to his legacy if he never wins it. This would be a huge victory for Adam Page.
Prediction – Hangman Page
