NJPW Best of Super Juniors Day 12 Review
This show will determine the finalist for the A Block so it is very important. Heading into the show people contending for the top spot include Will Ospreay, Dragon Lee, Hiromu Takahashi, Ricochet, and Taichi. Let’s see who takes the spot at the top of the A Block.
Jushin “Thunder” Liger vs Taichi
If Taichi could secure a win he inches himself closer to winning the Block and grow my hatred for him even more but gladly he did not and Liger gets his first win of the tournament and the last of his in a BOSJ tournament. The crowd popped huge when Liger won and rightfully so. Liger had to deal with the Suzuki-GUN goons during the match as they constantly interfered until KUSHIDA and Taguchi stepped in to help. Nothing too crazy here just a simple match that saw Liger get the win in a feel good moment.

Dragon Lee vs TAKA Michinoku
This was alright, I was expecting a bit better from these two but it was still pretty solid. This was cool for what it was I just wish Dragon Lee won but TAKA took the win here. Again nothing too wild but Dragon Lee certainly deserved the win here but it’s good.
Match Rating: ***1/2
Ricochet vs Marty Scurll
This match was phenomenal and everything I was hoping it would be. Two of the best in the world going at it and it was a treat to watch. It was highly intense and started at a fast pace and didn’t slow down. I definitely say give this a watch. A gem that shows how great both wrestlers truly are. Marty Scurll takes the win here which means the match between Takahashi and Ospreay will determine the winner of A Block.

Hiromu Takahashi vs Will Ospreay
This was another banger man! I was rooting for Takahashi a lot here and it helped my enjoyment of the match. They pulled out everything as they knew this was the second biggest match besides the finals. All the reversals and big moves got me hyped. Definitely another must see match as this tournament has had a good amount of. Opsreay takes the win here which eh not what I wanted but he busted his ass this tournament I was just hoping for something different.
Match Rating: ****3/4
This was a good show of what I watched. The last two matches are MOTY contenders in my opinion. All four of those guys are up there as some of the best around and they showed off on their final night of the tournament. Watch those and tell me they aren’t the best i’ll wait.
