Tonight is the Fall-Out Edition of Monday Night Raw following last night’s SummerSlam PPV. Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar and won the Universal Championship but what will the new champ have to say when he kicks off Raw? On the same note, what will Stone Cold Steve Austin have to say about the Rollins and Lesnar match. Plus, after being destroyed by Goldberg last night how will Dolph Ziggler fare as he goes one on one with The Miz tonight? Also, after retaining the Women’s Tag Team Championships last night can Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross retain again tonight as they defend against The Kabuki Warriors? Andrade and Rey Mysterio had another great bout last week but which one will come out on top in their 2 out of 3 Falls Match? Finally, in this budding rivalry will it be Drew Mcintyre or Cedric Alexander getting the last laugh tonight?
Raw comes to us from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Raw kicks off with a recap of the WWE Universal Championship Match last night.
In Ring Segment: Seth Rollins (New Universal Champion)
Rollins says last night he didn’t know he had what it took to beat Brock Lesnar. He says last night he walked to the ring not one hundred percent and looked Brock Lesnar straight in the eyes. He says Lesnar is everything he is touted to be and he is a beast. He tells that when he emptied the tank and had nothing left the fans came alive and it took him to a place he has never been in his entire career, a place he could never go on his own and could only go together. He says in that moment he knew he had what it took to slay the beast and he remembered he is Seth Fricken Rollins and that is why he is standing here as the Universal Champion. Here comes The O.C.
Styles tells Rollins believe it or not The O.C. would like to be the first to congratulate him. He tells him he doesn’t have to worry about Brock Lesnar anymore but he does have to worry about the man standing in front of him. He says ever since he came to his senses he realized he had a lot to prove. He challenges Rollins and says he wants to prove he is a much much much better champion than him. Rollins says he used to have a ton of respect for him but not anymore and it doesn’t matter how beaten up he is he will never back down from a fight. Rollins says challenge accepted. Styles extends his hand for a hand shake and Rollins accepts.
My Opinion:
Raw could have started with a hotter start but I am excited for this match to come tonight. Both Rollins and Styles are two of the bigger superstars on Raw so it’ll be interesting to see which one can prove to be better. Last time these two met Styles was in a different place so we will see if he fares better now that he has his boys and an edge. This is huge for Styles because as win could definitely put him in line for a title shot at some point.
Backstage Segment:
The Street Profits go over Rollins facing Styles and says Monday Night Raw is getting all of the smoke. Dawkins says he knows but the SummerSlam after party went a little late. Sami Zayn tells them to enjoy this while they can because the longer they are here the more the parasites will suck their soul. He tells how Rollins was the architect and now he is a pandering fool. He says Becky Lynch was straight fire for real and now she is so manufactured. Dawkins then asks if it happens to everyone, even Samoa Joe. Sami says especially him and makes fun of him for last week. Joe yells at him and tells Zayn he wants to give it an opportunity to get it off his chest in the ring right now. He says who knows maybe you can show your home country you are more than Kevin Owens water boy. He then pushes Zayn to the ground.
*** The King Of The Ring Tournament returns next week!
*** We will also get updates on the Roman Reigns situation later tonight.
Match 1: Samoa Joe vs Sami Zayn
Zayn hammers on Joe with right hands and is able to get a rake to the eyes. He stays on Joe but Joe comes back sending him off the ropes and hitting him with a shoulder tackle. He then beats Zayn down to the mat. Joe is able to catch Zayn and lock in the Coquina Clutch. Zayn taps out. Joe then gets on the mic and says though he may forgive Roman Reigns for pointing the finger at him, the forgiveness is extended to none of the fans who helped propagate the lie. He says he will never forgive any of you people.
Winner: Samoa Joe
My Opinion:
This was a great match for Joe, it was quick and he showed how dangerous he truly is. Joe is someone who should be a World Champion and hopefully this is the straight of a good push for him. If he can continue to dominate like this then there is no reason he shouldn’t reach the top. He would dominate as a champion and he is over with the crowd. He’s the heel everyone loves and he deserves the spotlight.
Backstage Segment:
The Miz heads to the ring for his match with Dolph Ziggler.
*** Announcement for SummerSlam 2020 location later tonight.
Match 2: The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler
Before the match can begin Ziggler gets on the mic and tells Miz he hopes he is happy and then calls him a coward. He says everyone knows Miz didn’t have a chance at SummerSlam so he put sicked Goldberg on him. He says he got speared so many times last night and he is not medically cleared to compete. He says his plan didn’t go through, he is not medically cleared. He says all these blood thirsty Canadians would love to see this match. To damn bad. Ziggler goes to leave and as Miz’s back is turned Ziggler attacks him and lays Miz out. Ziggler tells the ref to ring the bell as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, the match is underway and Miz hits Ziggler with a knee to the midsection. Miz hits Ziggler with big right hands and backs him in the corner. He continues hammering on him and then hits him with huge kicks. Miz hits him with two double knees and then a clothesline. He goes to the top and hits an ax handle. With Ziggler down Miz connects with the IT Kicks. He misses on the last one but stays on Ziggler. Miz can’t lock in the Figure Four and Ziggler comes back sending Miz into the ring post. He hits the Zig Zag and goes for the cover but Miz kicks out. Ziggler looks for the Super Kick but Miz catches him and goes after Ziggler’s leg. Miz finally locks in the Figure Four. Ziggler writhes in pain and can’t break the hold. Miz gets a bridge on to put more pressure on the hold and Ziggler taps.
Ziggler then gets on the mic and tells Miz he couldn’t beat him at SummerSlam and tells him that Maryse is the best wrestler in his family. Ziggler tells him he doesn’t have the guts to finish him off. Miz comes back into the ring and lays him out with a Skull Crushing Finale.
Winner: The Miz
My Opinion:
A big win for The Miz tonight, he did very well and had a pretty clean match over the banged up Ziggler. I don’t know how this helps Ziggler but you have to give him credit for always making everyone else look good. Ziggler is a tough dude and a great wrestler and you hope they have more of a plan for him than just getting other people over. I’m sure this rivalry will continue on and with Miz and Ziggler knowing each other so well they could put on a barn burner of a match if they have the chance, so hopefully they will get the opportunity.
Backstage Segment:
Charly congratulates Becky and Becky thanks her before taking the mic and saying she can take it from here. Becky says a long time ago she said she was coming for everyone who did her wrong and she is not her to make friends and she won’t rest until everyone is dealt with. She says this a cat and mouse game and tells everyone women she suggest they get her before she gets them.
In Ring Segment: Elias
Elias says last night another legend interrupted him. He says he is getting the hang of it that he goes and sings a song and someone interrupts him. He tells who everyone is going to do that to just come out and get it done with. He then counts down 3, 2, 1. No one comes and he says okay let’s try it again. No one comes and he says tonight is history, it is going to be the first uninterrupted Elias performance. Ricochet then comes out.
Ricochet tells him people come out and interrupt him because he sucks. Elias says that’s a clever insult but someone who comes out dressed like a comic book character isn’t going to tell him what sucks. He tells him he is going to embarrass him in the ring so bring out a ref.
Match 3: Elias vs Ricochet
Ricochet quickly takes Elias down and tries a quick pin but Elias kicks out. Elias gets the advantage and beats Ricochet down in the corner. Elias sends him off the ropes and hits a huge back drop. Elias goes for the cover and Ricochet kicks out at two. Elias gets a side headlock in and controls Ricochet on the mat. Ricochet tries to get to a vertical base but Elias brings him back down. Elias hits him with right hands but he is then thrown into the corner. Ricochet fights out and is able to land a dropkick to take Elias down. Ricochet hits him with big rights and takes control. Ricochet hits an enziguri and Elias goes to the outside. Ricochet flies to the outside but Elias side steps and Ricochet crashes into the barricade. Elias grabs the guitar and the ref tells him to put it down. This allows Ricochet to land a huge kick. Off the top rope Ricochet works a sunset flip and pins Elias for the 1 2 3. (It appears Elias shoulder was up during the cover).
Winner: Ricochet
My Opinion:
After the replay it is clear that Elias’s shoulder was off the mat but nonetheless Ricochet picks up a much needed win after a tough loss last night. For Ricochet it is a climb back to the top but wins will help that process go quicker. Elias has a real grip to make about this one so it wouldn’t be surprising if he rightfully asks for a rematch. Elias definitely could beat Ricochet but if the rematch happens he has to do better in keeping Ricochet on the mat.
Backstage Segment:
Rey Mysterio heads to the ring to face Andrade in a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match next.
*** SummerSlam will be in Boston next year.
Match 4: Rey Mysterio vs Andrade w/ Zelina Vega: 2 Out of 3 Falls Match
Andrade hits a huge boot and then stomps on Mysteri0. Mysterio fights back and gets him in position for the 619. Mysterio goes to the ropes but Vega trips him up. Andrade works a roll up and uses the ropes to get the 1 2 3 and the first fall.
Mysterio sends Andrade flying as the second fall is under way. Andrade stops him as he goes to the top and is able to pull him off. Mysterio works the arm of Andrade and off the turnbuckles Mysterio hits a hurricanrana sending himself and Andrade to the floor. Mysterio brings him into the ring and lands a splash. Mysterio goes for the cover but Andrade kicks out at one. Andrade is able to catch Mysterio and afterwards is able to drop Mysterio to the mat. Andrade goes for the cover but Mysterio kicks out. Andrade stomps on him in the corner and then looks for double knees but Mysterio moves out of the way and Andrade crashes into the turnbuckles. Mysterio hits Andrade and then plants him to the mat off the ropes. Mysterio goes for the cover but Andrade kicks out. Vega gets involved and Andrade goes for the cover again but Mysterio kicks out. Mysterio then can’t get the three on the pin. Mysterio hits an enziguri and it allows him to get in position and hit the 619. Mysterio goes for the splash but Andrade gets his knees up. Andrade hits the hammer lock DDT and gets the 1 2 3 on the cover.
Winner: Andrade
My Opinion:
A clean sweep for Andrade and he proved a lot tonight with those two pinfalls over Mysterio. Sure, Vega got involved but this is a part of andrade and why he is a dangerous opponent. I think with Vega by his side Andrade is poised to be a champion someday and he obviously has the talent for it. Hopefully he capitalizes on this momentum and continues to get victories this big. For Mysterio, it sucks he has been held down some since coming back but I’m sure he finds great pride in helping someone like Andrade get to that next level.
Stone Cold Steve Austin:
Cole asks Austin how impressed he was with Seth Rollins. Austin tells Cole that Rollins asked himself is week after week getting handed to him worth it. He says Rollins said this is all I am and this is all I got and that’s what he had his whole career. He says he knows who Seth Fricken Rollins is now and when you can believe like that, you can do anything. Cole asks him what advice he gave to Rollins. He says he told Rollins to stay focused and says Rollins relied on the crowd. He tells Rollins found a piece of himself he didn’t know existed and he dug down deep. He calls it a badass win. Cole then reminds of Stone Cold’s new show Straight Up Steve Austin. Stone Cold says oh hell yeah. Cole then wishes him luck on the new show.
Backstage Segment:
Charly tells Rey it seems like he’s met his match in Andrade. Rey says he has never lost two falls in a row like that, he says he has no idea where his career is going but he knows he has a family to support. She asks if there is something he is trying to say. He says my family, my family.
Backstage Segment:
Montez Ford tells Mysterio to keep his head up, right Dawkins. Dawkins is half asleep. Ford tells him he has to support his girl Nikki Cross and their boy Cedric has Drew Mcintyre tonight. He asks him who has for that match and Dawkins goes to chugging water.
Backstage Segment:
Mcintyre is asked about his next chapter with Cedric, and says this rivalry ends tonight. He says Cedric thinks this will all end with a big victory over him in Toronto but it’s not going to happen. He says what really is going to happen is he is going to take his boot and cave his skull in, then it will be over.
Match 5: Drew Mcintyre vs Cedric Alexander
Alexander lands a huge kick to start but Mcintyre comes back sending him in the corner. Alexander fights out and is able to send Mcintyre to the floor. He then flies to take him out. Alexander goes to the top and hits a dropkick. He goes for the cover and Mcintyre kicks out. Alexander is able to stay on the offensive for a momentum but Mcintyre beats on his back and grabs him before sending him into the turnbuckles. He goes for the cover but Alexander kicks out. Mcintyre hits a chop in the corner. In the center of the ring the two trade blows before Mcintyre is able to take Alexander down to the mat with a submission hold. Alexander gets to his feet and tries to fight out but eventually is hit with a boot in the corner. Mcintyre then throws him across the ring. He goes for the cover but again Alexander kicks out. Mcintyre continues to beat him down but Alexander fights back with a handspring into the step up enziguri. Alexander hits him with a series of strikes and then hits a knee. He plants Mcintyre with the DDT and Alexander goes for the cover but can’t get the three. Alexander brings him to the top rope but Mcintyre catches him and lands a slam from the middle rope. Mcintyre goes for the cover but Alexander kicks out. Mcintyre lifts him and then tosses him to the floor. He meets him out there and hits him with a chop that drops Alexander to the floor. Mcintyre lifts him but Alexander fights off and sends him into the post. Alexander then hits the Lumbar Check on the outside. Alexander makes it back into the ring and then flies to the outside but he is caught. Mcintyre then throws him onto the ramp. Back in the ring, Mcintyre looks for the Claymore but Alexander can’t even stand. Mcintyre lifts him to his feet and alexander tries to steal one with an inside cradle but Mcintyre kicks out. Mcintyre goes to the top and gets caught by Alexander. Alexander hits the Spanish fly but can’t put Mcintyre away on the cover. Mcintyre hits him with a back elbow and then looks for the inverted Alabama Slam but Alexander rolls through. Mcintyre fights out of the pin attempt and out of nowhere hits the Claymore Kick. Mcintyre pins him 1 2 3.
Winner: Drew Mcintyre
My Opinion:
Wow, what a match between these two. Given only a little bit of time they put on one heck of a show. It told a great story with the superior Mcintyre and underdog Alexander fighting back over and over. He almost got Mcintyre but when he hit the big move it was on the outside and did him no good. It seemed Cedric was trying to win with the element of surprise and not necessarily but putting Mcintyre away. Mcintyre though was out to put Cedric down and he did just that. I think Cedric and Mcintyre could have more matches in the future and I really hope they do have at least one more because that was awesome.
Backstage Segment:
Styles tells the O.C. Seth Rollins may have done the impossible beating Brock Lesnar. They remind Styles he didn’t beat Lesnar. He says Rollins had how many chances and he only had one. He says he is going to run through Rollins tonight.
Backstage Segment:
Paul Heyman heads into Brock Lesnar’s locker room.
Backstage Segment:
Charly is set to get a word with Paul Heyman in a few minutes.
Match 6: “The Glorious” Robert Roode vs No Way Jose
Roode and Jose lock up and Roode backs him into the corner. Roode hits him with strikes and stomps on him in the corner. Roode throws him into the corner but is then caught with an elbow. Roode comes back with big right hands. Jose tries to fight back but is then hit with a spine buster. Roode hits him with the Glorious DDT and gets the 1 2 3 on the cover.
Winner: Robert Roode
My Opinion:
I’m glad to see Roode on tv and getting the win in this one. He had so much potential when he came up to the main roster and then he was lost in the shuffle. I hope they get him back on track because this is a guy with a lot of experience, a name for himself, and someone who can get is done night in and night out. Hopefully, this is no one off and Roode can build momentum to being a viable player on the Raw roster once again.
Backstage Segment:
Charly says history was made last night at SummerSlam. Heyman mocks her and says her is the exclusive, WWE made a declarative statement earlier today that his client Brock Lesnar gets no rematches against Seth Rollins. He asks how he explains this. He has no right words and goes back into the locker room.
Match 7: The Revival vs Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik w/ Kalisto)
Wilder backs Dorado into the corner and tries to take control. Dorado fights back but Wilder slows the past. Dawson gets the tag and knocks down Dorado. He hits him with a couple of elbows and then takes Dorado down to the mat. Wilder comes back in and Dorado is able to take down both members of The Revival. R-Truth and Carmella then run out with Super Stars chasing them. The Revival go after R-Truth and hit the Heart Attack on Truth. They pin Truth And win the title to be dual champions. Kalisto comes in and hits the Selina del sol but he is pulled out of the ring. Carmella puts Truth on Dawson and he gets the 1 2 3 to win back the title for the 12th time. He and Carmella then run up the ramp with everyone chasing them. Truth and Carmella come back out and go around the other side of the stage. Backstage Truth tells Mella he did it. Elias come from behind and hits Truth with the guitar. Elias pins him for the 1 2 3 and he wins the 24/7 title for the 3rd time.
Winners: No Contest
My Opinion:
It’s a shame to see The Revival moving backwards again but hopefully this won’t last long and they can eventually get back to the top of the tag division where they were. For the 24/7 title it continues to be one of the more entertaining pieces each week and it’s fun never knowing what’s going to happen. Elias wins it for the 3rd time but the chase continues and you have to wonder how long he can hold onto it for before Truth comes back for it.
Roman Reigns Update:
After showing the series of events from the past few weeks we are told the developing story continues tomorrow night on SmackDown Live.
In ring Segment: Natalya
Natalya says last night she faced Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship and she tapped out. She says Becky out wrestled her and was the better woman. She says she has a dislocated elbow and she is getting an MIR tomorrow. She says she guesses this is the time she is supposed to take back everything she said but she meant every damn word and she doesn’t know where or when but they will do it again. She says in her dream last night her dad spoke to her and said congratulated her and said he was so proud of her. She says it’s been one year today since her dad died. Out comes Sasha Banks!
Sasha gives Natalya a big hug and the two share a moment before Sasha attacks Natalya. She unloads on her and then throws her into the corner. She then throws her to the outside. She meets her out there and throws her into the steel steps. She then does it once more and continues to taunt Natalya. She throws her in the ring and then grabs a steel chair. Sasha stomps on her before Becky Lynch comes out!
Lynch runs to the ring and the two brawl it out in the ring. Becky gets the upper hand for a moment before Sasha floors her on the outside with a right hand. Sasha takes it to her and continues to hammer on her. With a chair Sasha hits Becky in the back over and over and over and over. Refs come out to try to stop her but Sasha continues to hammer on her with a chair. She asks Becky where her balls are now before slapping her. Sasha then throws her into the steps before finally walking up the ramp.
My Opinion:
Talk about coming back and making an impact! That was awesome and Sasha just came back and just picked up where she left off. I’m so glad that she is back and wow with this attitude the sky’s the limit for her. I think if they capitalize on this right this could be the biggest run for Sasha she has had in WWE. the crowd seems super behind her and it seems nothing is going to stop Sasha. The intent is clear and I’m sure soon we will get Sasha facing Becky for the title. This was a perfect swerve a perfect way to let everyone know The Boss is back!
Match 8: The Viking Raiders vs Carter Mason vs Sebastian Suave
Ivar throws Mason to the outside and then brings Suave into the ring to take him down. Erik comes in and dominates both of them. Here comes Ivar and they continue with the double team. Ivar goes for the cover but then lifts Mason’s head. On the outside Erik takes out Suave. They hit the Viking Experience and Erik pins Mason for the 1 2 3.
Winners: The Viking Raiders
My Opinion:
Another big win for The Viking Raiders tonight and the dominance continues. Wrestling fans know exactly what these guys can do and we have seen it for years so I think it’s time WWE let’s them get into the mix with the tag teams and show what they are made of.
Backstage Segment:
Charly says this has been an exciting time for you two and go over how Bliss and Cross will be defending tonight. Bliss says they are fighting champions. Cross then thanks Bliss. Bliss says when it’s them against the world they win.
Match 9: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (c) vs The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane): WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Bliss pushes Sane and Sane comes back taunting Bliss. Sane gets around her and sends her off the ropes and hits a crossbody. In comes Asuka and she and Sane double team Bliss. Cross is knocked off the apron and she and Bliss are then taken out on the floor. Asuka goes for the cover but Bliss kicks out as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, Cross is in control of Sane. cross hits her with knees to the gut and knocks her back down on the mat going back to the submission. Sane hangs her up but is then caught by Cross. Sane rolls through and tags Asuka. Asuka takes out Bliss and then hits Cross with a knee. She then hits her with huge kicks and a knee to follow. She hits a suplex but Cross is sent into the corner and tags Bliss. Bliss plants Asuka face first and goes for the cover but Sane breaks up the cover. Cross comes in but Asuka fights off the double team and plants them both. Sane comes in and slams Cross. She goes for the Insane Elbow but Cross rolls out of the ring. Sane still flies and hits her with a crossbody on the outside. Back in the ring, Sane hits the Insane Elbow but Bliss breaks up the cover with a dropkick. Asuka goes after Bliss but pays as Bliss move and Asuka kicks the ring post. Bliss pulls cross to the corner but Sane stops her and hits her with a back fist. This allows Cross to hit the swinging neck breaker. Bliss tags in and hits Twisted Bliss. Bliss goes for the cover and gets the 1 2 3.
Winners: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross: Still WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions
My Opinion:
Bliss and cross are killing it as tag champs! It doesn’t matter how at the end of the day they are getting the job done and working as an amazing team. They have each other’s back and just know how to get it done together. The tag titles are back in the spotlight and that’s huge since they went so long without. Cross and bliss are key members to the Raw product so as long as they have the titles they are in good hands. The more the titles are defended and the more teams step forward, the more performance these titles will have. Right now Cross and Bliss are the perfect champions.
Backstage Segment:
Rollins tells Styles he is the champion he only wishes he could be. He says he did something he could never do and beat Brock Lesnar twice. He tells AJ he has beat him twice and asks him if he forgot about Money In The Bank. he says he hopes he did because it gives him one more reason to stomp him in the head and remind him who the real champion is.
Match 10: Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles w/ The O.C. ( Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)
Rollins catches Styles and backs him in the corner hitting him with his shoulder over and over. Rollins then gets Styles upside down and stomps on him before hitting a dropkick. Styles hits him in the ribs and comes back. Rollins stays in it and takes him down. Styles is then pulled out of the ring. Rollins flies and takes out Gallows. He then takes out Anderson but this allows Styles to get back on him and drive Rollins into the ring apron as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, Styles has Rollins beaten down and he continues damaging his ribs. Rollins fights out of the Styles Clash on the apron and knocks Styles down. Styles is tossed back in the ring by The O.C., as for Rollins he barely makes the count. Styles hits Rollins with a series of strikes but Rollins comes back with a sling blade. Rollins hits the falcon arrow but can’t get the three on the cover. Rollins places Styles on the top turnbuckle and meets him up there. Styles knocks him down but Rollins pops back up. Once again he is knocked down and styles catches him. Rollins ducks the Phenomenal Forearm and then catches him with a kick. Anderson distracts the ref and Gallows knocks Rollins to the mat. Gallows and Anderson are then sent to the back. Rollins hits Styles with a kick to the face and Rollins is in control. Gallows and Anderson come back lay out Rollins. Here comes Ricochet! Ricochet takes it to Anderson and then Gallows. He knocks down Styles but then gets caught by Gallows. He and Anderson then hit The Boot of Doom on Ricochet before dumping him to the floor. Rollins fights back but the numbers game catches up and. Braun Strowman then comes out to even the odds! He blows through Anderson and then sends Gallows flying. Styles tries to fight back but Strowman lays him out. Strowman then hits him with a running powerslam. Strowman then hands the Universal Championship to Rollins and the two shake hands.
Winner: Seth Rollins: Via DQ
My Opinion:
Rollins and Styles had a good match going but obviously the numbers game was going to be too much for Rollins as The O.C. was very active in this match. Luckily for Rollins he had help at the end and didn’t get destroyed but the big story is that pop for Braun Strowman! Strowman came out and cleaned house. For someone who has been misused a lot this could be the start of him getting to where he is supposed to be. The crowd seemed to love Braun and maybe now he can go for that Universal Title!
Final Thoughts:
For me, this was an excellent show because we had a ton of wrestling (10 Matches), people getting opportunities, a major return, and a big announcement with the King Of The Ring returning, this is huge because it has catapulted the careers for superstars since it’s existence. First, Sasha Banks killed it in her return and the attitude she has come back with is amazing! She is going to be at the top for a long time and like I said with this momentum she could have the hottest run of her career. The match with Cedric Alexander and Drew Mcintyre was amazing. Those two laid it all on the line and created magic out there. I was super happy that Bliss and Cross retained the tag titles because they’re really elevating them and hopefully will bring them to prestige where they belong. I loved the aggression we saw in Samoa Joe tonight quickly laying out Sami Zayn so quickly. Andrade was another impressive Super Star tonight beating Mysterio twice. He is one his way to big things and for Mysterio it will be interesting to see where he goes from here. After a tough loss tonight I thought it was awesome to see Elias win the 24/7 title, it gives him something more to do and you know he and Truth will come up with some funny things for that. Finally, the ending for Raw was awesome! Rollins and Styles battled and it was one I sure wouldn’t mind to see again. The big story was Braun Strowman and how he cleaned house and saved the day. Hopefully for Braun this could be the start of a big push for him! Overall this was a great show with a lot going on and I loved it!
Overall Rating: 7/10
