RAW REVIEW 09/19/2016
Hello, my name is Paul Elliott. I’ve been watching wrestling my whole life. Most people say that but I actually really have. Wrestling has always been my passion and I am chasing my dream and trying to make a career in it. I’ve helped out a Ring of Honor twice now. I help out at the local companies around me and even got to help out with a company in Detroit. Through wrestling I’ve become good friends with Zach Gowen and other amazing people. I continue to get opportunities and I have gotten in the ring before so I understand what it takes to be in there. I have a wide knowledge for wrestling and writing for this site I hope to show that. Writing these reviews is huge for me and I want to prove I belong and I want to help make The Wrestling Classic even more great than what it already is. This is a huge opportunity for me and with this platform I plan to excel and give the best Raw reviews I possibly can; and put my all into it. I love wrestling and this is what I do. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Tonight is Monday Night RAW! The go home edition before this Sunday’s Clash of Champions. There is a lot of build up heading into tonight; What will happen when Seth Rollins faces off against Rusev? Will Roman Reigns get the revenge he is seeking on Rusev? What will unfold when the Cruiserweights finally arrive? What kind of mood is Charlotte in this week, and can she coexist with her sidekick Dana Brooke? It’s time to find out live on Raw!
Raw is live tonight in Memphis, Tennessee. We kick off the night taking a look back at last week’s main event which featured Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens. Strict rules were put in place by Raw GM Mick Foley telling Seth Rollins not to get involved; as this match would determine if the Clash of Champions Universal title match would in fact be a triple threat match if Reigns was the victor. As we see not only did Seth get involved but after the match was restarted Rusev got involved and ultimately the two cost Roman his chance as Kevin Owens defeated him not once but twice.
Opening Segment
Raw kicks off with us being welcomed to the show by Michael cole. Raw kicks off and here comes an angry and determined Roman Reigns. As Roman makes his way to the ring Michael Cole points out the question of what is going through Roman’s mind as his opportunity was stripped from him last week? Byron then reminds of a tweet Roman had sent out earlier stating “Raw starts on my terms and it doesn’t end well for Rusev.” Reigns is not a happy man and is greeted with the same mixed reaction from the crowd with loud boos ringing over. Before Reigns could even complete his sentence Stephanie Mcmahon’s music hits and here comes Steph.
Stephanie proclaims to Roman that she has a show to run; pretty much shooting down Roman’s statement that Raw starts on his terms. She however does say they have a solution for Reigns. Before she is able to announce it Foley’s music hits and here comes the Hardcore Legend.
As Foley enters the ring Stephanie starts a foley chant. He thanks Steph and says last week he had sole control and it was on him that things got out of hand. He states he talked to the perpetrators and as punishment made the match of Seth Rollins vs Rusev live tonight on Raw. Roman isn’t very enthused by the announcement; he is frustrated because that does nothing to change the fact that he not only got screwed over by Triple H but now by Rollins and Rusev as well. Mick ever the veteran has an answer; he announces that this Sunday at Clash of Champions it will be Roman Reigns vs Rusev for the United States Championship. Stephanie personally guarantees the match will happen. Roman is quick to state his lack of trust in the words she says. Foley then counteracts his statement; he assures Roman that there is no reason not to trust Stephanie; claiming she is doing the best she can. Mick then starts his own rant; he is offended no one listens to him and that there was a big lack of disrespect last week. Roman’s match was a thing of beauty and it was ruined. He also asks how can the WWE universe boo Roman? Mick continues on to say everyone on Raw is family; they are all engaged in the fight against SmackDown and if things don’t change when the smoke clears if things don’t go their way and they lose the ratings battle he will disappear again and end back up on his couch. Stephanie reassures Mick that she couldn’t be more proud to have as the GM. Sick of the games Mick tells Roman he will sign a rematch for Roman against Kevin Owens tonight.
After that announcement KO’s music hits. Owen’s is livid asking Foley are you serious? This is a joke right? Are you working on new material for when Steph gets rid of you? Owen’s goes on to point out he beat Roman twice last week and he should be preparing to defend his title on Sunday; telling Roman I am in the main event not you. He begs Stephanie but she says what Mick says goes and you will have to compete in a rematch but it will be a non title match. Mick agrees with that but adds that the match will happen in steel cage right here in Memphis, Tennessee! Cheap pop and a “Have a nice day” followed. Seth Rollins then comes out as he prepares to take on Rusev next.
As Raw returns Stephanie and Mick are backstage Steph seems irritated with Mick questioning how could he put Kevin in a steel cage match this close to his title defense? The two are interrupted as Rusev comes yelling at Mick; he too is questioning him but instead on how could he give Roman another title shot and on top of it make him face Seth tonight. Mick tries to establish his authority by telling Rusev he wasn’t suppose to interfere last week and this is what he gets. Rusev is livid he proclaims it was a special night for him and Lana, and questions if Mick is jealous of the Rusev family. Mick would have none of it and says it doesn’t change the facts.
Opinion:
It was a good segment for Foley. We have seen him become soft over the years so it is nice to see him trying to go back to his old ways. This was a good way for Mick to re-establish the fact that he is the General Manager and what he says goes.
Match 1: Seth Rollins vs Rusev
Seth gets early shots on Rusev but Rusev would quickly get back on the offensive. Seth eventually is able to toss Rusev to the outside but as Seth meets him Rusev is able to drive him into the ring post. Rusev continues to work on Seth’s back but Rusev gloating catches up and Rollin’s amounts some offense. Rusev never one to be phased for long is able to gain control again as Seth is thrown from the second rope. Seth fights back and is able to land a calculated enziguri.Seth builds momentum and is able to hit a falcon arrow, but it is not enough to put away Rusev. Rusev hits a couple of knees to Rollins midsection and lands a nice kick to Rollins shoulder. A quick cover but Rollins kicks out. The crowd gets behind Rollins, eventually Rollins meets Rusev with a suicide dive and second to follow it. The second one sends Rusev to the entrance way. The two men brawl and this leads to both men being counted out. Rusev continues the assault after the match and tries to throw Rollins off the stage. Rollins counters and throws Rusev off the stage. Seth gets on the announce table and dives onto Rusev crashing on the floor. Seth gets back on the stage and shows he is “the guy.”
Winner: Draw due to a Double Count-out.
Opinion:
It was a plain match for Rusev. He didn’t do much of anything we haven’t seen before and it didn’t show his dominance well. On the other hand for Seth I think it was great for him. He was able to show he can hang with the best of them and remind us that he very well in fact is still the guy.
– After the match we move backstage to see Charlotte and Dana Brooke with Mick. Dana tries to show Mick the match from last week and claims it was a double pin . Charlotte says therefore she does not have a clear contender and shouldn’t have to defend her title. Dana says Mick should cancel the tag match and let Bayley and Sasha go at it. Mick disagrees with that but says there wasn’t a clear winner so this Sunday Charlotte will defend her title against both Sasha and Bayley. A frustrated Charlotte knocks down Dana Brook.
– We return to Raw and head backstage again. This time we are met by Jericho and Owens. Jericho expresses his feelings to Owens on how Mick Foley never liked him and that because of it he is taking it out on him by taking it out on Owens. Owens agrees and says Foley has it out for him and has since he won the title. Chris proclaims he is making a list of all the grievances he has against Foley and the he will not like it.
Match 2: Braun Strowman vs Sin Cara
Sin Cara tries to amount offense early with some elbows and kicks to Strowman. Strowman would quickly gain the upperhand pounding on Sin Cara’s chest and locking in a vice grip. Sin Cara fights out and is able to dive out of the ring onto Strowman but doesn’t knock him off his feet. Strowman shows some agility and quickly gets back in ring. He quickly catches Sin Cara in mid air as he tries to go for a moonsault. Sin cara is flattened by a devastating slam and Strowman covers for the win.
Winner: Braun Strowman
Opinion:
A very short match to say the least. It did show off Strowman’s but then again Sin Cara hasn’t been much of a threat to anyone as of late. I do not feel we will see or be able to buy into Braun’s true dominance until he faces real competition.
– Backstage we Sasha preparing for her tag team match; she is greeted by her tag partner for the night Bayley. Bayley tells Sasha how excited she is for their triple threat match on Sunday. She says it will be just like old times being in the ring together again. Sasha agrees that in the old times they pushed each other to the limits but this is the new era. She tells Bayley that last week she had her beat. Bayley disagrees and says she beat her and that’s why there is a triple threat match now. The two exchange a good I won no I won, but Bayley says the good news is one of them will be the champ and for now let’s go show them how it is done.
Match 3: Sasha Banks and Bayley vs Charlotte and Dana Brook
Dana Brooke and Sasha start off the match. The two don’t do much and quickly in comes Bayley and Charlotte. Bayley takes it to Charlotte throws Charlotte into Dana knocking here off the apron. Charlotte is able to gain control and works Baylee’s back and keeps her from getting a tag. Bayley is able to kick out of a quick cover by Charlotte she is able to muster up some offense and hits a beautiful arm drag from the second rope. After a quick kick out by Charlotte Bayley tags in Sasha. She gives her own armdrag to Charlotte. She does not keep the offensive for long as Charlotte regains control. For a time Dana and Charlotte work Sasha’s injured back with knees and Charlotte using the ring post to stretch Sasha’s back. Sasha is able to get out of the figure eight before Charlotte can lock it in.This gives Sasha enough time to finally get a tag. Bayley comes in hot, taking down both Charlotte and Dana. She delivers a shoulder to charlotte’s midsection, and hits a springboard elbow off the second rope. Dana gets involved but is met by Sasha on the outside. The distraction is what Charlotte needed as she delivers a big boot to Bayley. She quickly goes for the cover and just like that it’s over.
Winners: Charlotte and Dana Brooke
Opinion:
The match was pretty blah to say the least. Each woman was able to show off a couple moves but that was it. I will say it did good to leave us wondering for sunday. Now we question what shape Sasha will be in as her back was worked a lot. We see that Bayley can hang with Charlotte; but also that Charlotte is still dominate and her and Dana seem to be on the same page heading into Clash of Champions.
– As Raw returns Seth Rollins is in Stephanie Mcmahon’s office. Stephanie tells Seth it’s nice to see him in her office. Seth tells Stephanie that they had a lot of good time in there and asks why did you throw it all away for Kevin Owens? Steph continues with her story saying she was pulling for him and she had no idea that was going to happen. Seth is not happy with this as he says they can’t just sweep this under the rug and that he wants the truth. Steph gives it to Seth as she says maybe Kevin was the right choice and that maybe her husband was sick of him ruining things like losing at Summerslam and being the reason the WWE championship went to SmackDown. This strikes a nerve with Seth he states that Stephanie and Triple H will figure out they made the wrong choice when he beats Owens and that maybe they will come back to him but that he could be their worst nightmare. Stephanie asserts her dominance and tells him not to threaten her and that she does think Owens is the right guy, and has replaced Seth as the man. Seth tells Stephanie that she has changed since the return of her brother and walks out.
Match 4: Bo Dallas vs Gary Graham
It is now time for Bo Dallas versus a local guy named Gary Graham who we are told by the announcers is the grandson of Michael P.S. Hayes. Bo cuts a short promo which is a poem of some sorts. He states only he can bolieve in Bo. Bo delivers some high elbows, but Graham is able to try to go for a quick pin Bo kicks out and is angered. He delivers some knees to Graham’s head, and then “lets go jobber” chants ring out. Bo gets angrier and delivers elbows on his back as Graham lies half way on the apron .Bo hits a quick clothesline and hits a reverse neck breaker for the win.
Winners: Bo Dallas
Opinion:
The match did well in showing that this is a new vicious Bo Dallas. The only problem is it is a short match. We don’t know what this new Bo Dallas can do when faced with tougher competition. It does however make us wonder if this is in fact a new Bo and maybe now he can hang with the best of them.
Match 5: Cesaro [2] vs Sheamus [3] (Best of 7 series Match 6)
This is a must win for Cesaro, as he is down 3-2 in the series. Sheamus is on offense early wasting little time. He attacks the back of Cesaro as that has been injured more and more throughout the series. Cesaro comes on strong with both punches and uppercuts. Both men exchange reversals and Cesaro is able to connect with a big uppercut. Following the commercial break Cesaro hits a big dropkick that knocks Sheamus to the floor. Cesaro sends Sheamus crashing over the over barricade into the front row. Both men end up back in the ring and Cesaro connects with a spinning springboard uppercut. Cesaro tries to pick up Sheamus from the apron for a suplex from the top rope but he is worn down and fails to. A costly mistake as Sheamus hits white noise on the apron further hurting Cesaro’s back. Sheamus quickly goes for the cover after this devastating move but Cesaro kicks out on instinct. Sheamus connects with the Irish curse but Cesaro kicks out again. Sheamus still on the offense hits the Celtic cross into a back break; but Cesaro kicks out again. Cesaro goes for an uppercut and Sheamus is able to get out-of-the-way. He gets Cesaro in a school boy and tries to use ropes like Cesaro did last week but he is caught by the ref. After another missed Brogue kick Cesaro hits the gotch neutralizer for the win. The series is all tied up 3-3.
Winner: Cesaro
Opinion:
This was one of the stand out matches of the night. Both men one upped each other and took it to the limit. Throughout the series they have tested each other and have learned each other better than themselves. This was a huge win for Cesaro and built him a lot of momentum. Not only that but it establishes match number 7 as a must watch to see just how far these two will go.
– We head to the back to see Mick on the phone, he announces the final match of the best of 7 series will take place this Sunday at Clash of Champions. Jericho comes in and complains that Foley has been messing with Owens and that Foley doesn’t like Jericho himself. Foley assures Jericho that he is wrong and that he was the one who personally recommended Jericho to Paul Heyman: so never liked him is an exaggeration he just hasn’t liked him in a long time. Chris says he has an itemize list of Jericho with all of his grievances against Mick. Mick jokes and says he can’t hear him he’s missing an ear you stupid idiot. Jericho says stealing catchphrases there’s another grievance. He states his 5th grievance is Foley’s terrible fashion sense. Foley fires back saying the scarf Jericho is wearing looks ridiculous. Jericho states it is very trendy in Lunenburg; Foley’s counter is that it is not trendy right here in Memphis. Jericho announces he will just have to go tell the world what’s on the list of Jericho as Mick walks away.
In Ring Segment
As Raw returns Jericho is out in the ring with his list of Jericho. He complains that for the last 2 months Foley has been doing terrible job; stating he has been screwing him Owens and the show as a whole. Jericho starts listing his grievances; 1 Foley has been trying to drive a wedge between him and his best friend Kevin Owens. He relisted number 5 which is Foley’s terrible fashion sense; saying again that he looks ridiculous. Jericho plays to the crowd some then goes on to number 12 claiming Foley has developed an affection for Sami Zayn. Jericho says Sunday he will cross Zayn off the list. As Jericho says this Enzo and Big Cass’s music hits.
Enzo pokes fun at Jericho saying him and Owens’ aren’t best friends because a best friend wouldn’t let another friend wear a vest and a scarf like that. Big Cass then lists off best friends such as him and Enzo, Bert and Ernie, and Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. Chris claims what is this 1988: half of those people don’t even exist. As he says that out come the Shining Stars.
The Shining Stars play to Jericho and Enzo and Cass saying guys look at you, you guys look angry and stressed, but if they want to relax they can do so with a timeshare at the Shining Star resort and hotel. They are then interrupted with the arrival of The New Day.
As soon as they come out Jericho questions what are you 3 losers doing here? Kofi stops him telling him to hold up they have good reason. He turns to Big E and asks him what’s the reason; Big E answers stating they had nothing better to do. Xavier goes on to talk about his Youtube channel and how he will be giving away two free Iphone 7’s so two lucky people can call their families when The New Day defeat Gallows and Anderson this Sunday. Que Gallows and Anderson.
Gallows fires right away claiming you have to be kidding me? This is why we are taking the titles on Sunday. Anderson goes on to remind us that last week they beat The New Day and instead of being concerned they are out here talking about a Youtube channel. He says no one cares about the Youtube channel or a stupid real estate scam or about The New Day’s cereal. Jericho intervenes and states that his original list was about Foley, but now he is starting a new list of stupid idiots and everyone out there is on it.
As Jericho walks up the ramp he is cut off by Sami Zayn. Zayn goes at it with Jericho and throws him in the ring. Eventually in the ring we have Zayn and Jericho going at it and all the tag teams. We now have a full out brawl.
Opinion:
This was actually a very entertaining segment. Did well building hype for The New Day versus The Club and especially Jericho versus Zayn. Each team and Jericho included didn’t say much of what we haven’t heard before but I liked the idea of everyone trying to one up the other. It also worked well showing Zayn had no time for talking and just wanted a fight. A good move in the right direction for Zayn.
Match 6: (10 man tag) Sami Zayn, The New Day(Kofi Kingston and Big E), Enzo and Big Cass vs Chris Jericho, The Shining Stars(Epico and Primo) and The Club(Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)
Jericho and Kofi start off the match. Kofi brings some high offensive and hits a nice cross body. Jericho is able to fend him off and tags in Epico. Now Epico and Zayn are the legal men. Zayn hits a deep arm drag and is in control. He gets a quick tag to Big E; Big E locks in a nice abdominal stretch on Epico. Back in is Kofi, he goes for a quick pin but Epico is out. Kofi lands a nice boot to Epico, but is taken down by Gallows who is on the apron. Gallows gets the tag and tee’s off on Kofi. Anderson gets the tag and he does the same. They have cut the ring in half on Kofi. With Kofi and Primo in Kofi is able to fight him off and make a tag to Big Cass. Cass knocks everyone off the apron, and hits a fallaway slam on Primo. He follows up with a stinger splash in the corner, slams Primo down and hits his signature Empire Elbow. Epico comes in to break up the 3 count. After an exchange Cass hits a big boot on Epico. In comes The Club but they are sent over the ropes by Big E. Kofi dives over the top onto them. While this going on Jericho comes in and lands a shot on Big E. Zayn then meets Jericho in the ring and the two go at it. Zayn connects with a ddt to jericho off the ropes. Zayn looks for a big boot to Jericho but Jericho moves out of the moves out of way instead connecting with Primo. It worked just as well, as Cass and Enzo are able to hit the bada boom shakalaka on primo for the win.
Winners: Sami Zayn, The New Day(Kofi Kingston and Big E), Enzo and Big Cass
Opinion:
The match was highly contested but I think the Jericho and Zayn rivalry should have been established more. I wanted more hype for those two making us wonder what will happen when they get their hands on each other. The same for the Club and The New Day. If anything the Shining Stars got too much time but they did well with it. The question that lingers in my mind is why aren’t Enzo and Big Cass getting a shot at the titles? They seem to be the most dominate and have the best reactions.
– As Raw returns Foley is in ring to introduce the arrival of the Cruiserweights. He recaps the Cruiserweight Classic and reminds us that it is not about the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog. He then introduces the 4 competitors for the Cruiserweights debut match on Raw. We are introduced to Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Gran Metalik and The Brian Kendrick. As all four competitors are in the ring Mick informs them that this match will be a fatal four way and the winner will face TJ Perkins for the Cruiserweight Championship this Sunday at Clash of Champions.
Match 7: The Brian Kendrick vs Cedric Alexander vs Gran Metalik vs Rich Swann (Winner faces TJ Perkins):
The match kicks off and right away Kendrick rolls out of the ring. As this happens Cedric Alexander takes advantage and goes after Metalik and Swann. He tries a quick roll up on Swann but Swann kicks out. Swann fends off Alexander and Swann and Matelik go at it. Swann shows lands a calculated drop kick to Metalik. Kendrick picked his spot and comes back in on the offensive hitting Swann. He is stop quickly as Alexander comes back in and goes after him. He delivers a few chops to Kendrick and Kendrick quickly gets out of the ring again. We now see Metalik and Alexander going at it, the momentum is stopped as Swann reenters the ring and goes after Alexander. Swann is able to execute with a headscissors to Alexander, this does not take down Alexander though as he is able to quickly spring up to his feet. Alexander is able to hit a headscissors of his own. Kendrick shows aggression on the outside taking it to Metalik and then to Swann; sending Swann into the barricade and then the steel steps. Kenrick then lands a big kick to Swann’s head and ankle as he is caught up in the steps. Kendrick then takes it to Alexander in the ring but as he has him in a headlock Metalik comes off the top with an elbow to the back of Kendrick. Metalik is in control he lands a standing shooting star press and goes for a moonsault off the top rope but is meet with Swann’s knees. Alexander and Swann share some nice moves but neither is able to get the better of the other. Kendrick like the veteran he is picks his spot and the locks the Captain’s Hook on Alexander. That is then broken up by Matelik. By this point Swann is out of the equation; Alexander hit knees to back of Matelik taking him out of the equation. At this point Kendrick gets back in again and locks the Captain’s Hook on Alexander for the second time. This time however Alexander taps. Kendrick wins the match and is on to Clash of Champions to face TJ Perkins for the Cruiserweight Championship.
Winner The Brian Kendrick (Kendrick will Face TJ Perkins for the Cruiserweight championship on Sunday)
Opinion:
What an entertaining match. They definitely showed the Cruiserweights have arrived. Each man was able to show off their move sets and I would say it was pretty even. That is what I love about the cruiserweights is that no one dominates and it is faced pace back and forth. I think Cedric should have won as I think he was the best out there but Kendrick is getting up there so this could be one of his last pushes to the top. The only problem here was there was no appearance or introduction of the newly crowned Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins. Which I think leaves the casual fans less invested in this match because they don’t even know anything about the champion besides what they learnt from a video package? If Perkins was on commentary that would have been great because it would have let the viewers kind of know his personality or if he came out to have a quick face off with the winner, at least that would garner some suspense.
– After the match we see a quick promo for a developing story which features Alicia Fox and Nia Jax. Shows what has transpired by the two in the past weeks and shows that Jax and Fox will face off again this sunday at Clash of Champions.
Match 8: Roman Reigns Vs Kevin Owens Steel Cage:
Owens starts off the match mocking Reigns saying he is the big dog. In the beginning Owens looks for some quick escapes but is stopped by Reigns. Roman is in control for a minute until Owens is able to counter and sends Roman face first into the cage. As Raw returns from the break the two men are standing on the top rope looking to escape. Owens is able to deliver a rake of the eyes to Reigns and he goes down. Reigns however is able to hit to ropes to knock Owens down and Owens lands on his groin section on the ropes. Owens is then caught between the ropes and the cage; Reigns takes advantage and flattens KO against the cage three times. After it seems Reign is in control Owens is able to get back on the offensive and hits a cannonball on Reigns. Owens tries to escape again but Reigns is able to hold on to his foot. Owens delivers some kicks and looks for a senton by Reigns gets his knees up. Reigns then looks to escape but Owens grabs his foot, the two then exchange punches and the match starts to breakdown as the two go at it. Owens looks for a pop up power bomb but Reigns adjusts in mid air and connects with a Superman Punch. Reigns tries to capitalize with a spear but Owens lands a boot. Owens looks to climb the cage but before he can get over Reigns jumps up and grabs his ankle.Reigns meets him up there and Owens tries fending him off by pounding his head into the cage. Reigns goes for one last-ditch effort and jumps off and connects with a Superman punch to the side of KO’s head. As both men are down Owens signals for the door to be open. As he does Reigns makes his way to his feet and starts climbing. Reigns is able to get over and land on the ground seconds before Owen’s is able to get out. Reign’s knocks off the champ and builds huge momentum going into Sunday.
Winner:Roman Reigns
Opinion:
This was an epic match to end Raw. These two battled and Roman proved he still is one of the guys. Owens did well showing he can hang and be the fighting champ he needs to be. I think at a pay per view this match could be pure gold. These two have great in ring chemistry and I loved how highly contested this was. I liked that it built momentum for Reigns and leaves Owens with a sour taste going into Sunday so we can get the best out of KO. Definitely a good idea to have Reigns will so Owen’s isn’t one of these boring overpowering champs that never loses.
– As the match ends Rusev comes out look to attack Reigns. Reigns is able to quickly gain control and takes it to him until Owens hits Reigns in the back of the head with cage door. Rusev picks up the scraps and throws Reigns back into the cage and Rusev then locks the door so Reigns has nowhere to go. The two go after Reigns and after Owens takes his shots he leaves it to Rusev. Rusev takes his shots and locks Reigns in the Accolade. As he locks in the Accolade Rollins music hits. Rollins runs down to the ring. KO taunts him saying the door is locked. Rollins then scales the cage. Owens and Rusev try to fight him off but Rollins is able to get the better of them. Rollins is now standing on top of the cage looking down at Rusev and Owens. Rollins takes a leap of faith and does a cross body off the top of the cage onto the two. Raw ends as we see Rollins in the corner looking determined and we see just how bad Rollins wants to be the WWE Universal Champion., ends with look at Rollins, pissed off look.
Final Thoughts
Tonight’s Monday Night Raw was a very well executed show. It did its job to hype up matches for this Sunday’s Clash of Champions. Seth Rollins made out well showing that he is still “the guy” and Roman has a lot of momentum heading into Sunday. This night really set the tone for home much everyone wants to get after each other this Sunday!
Overall Rating: 8/10
