Raw kicks off with a look back at last night’s Hell In A Cell WWE Championship Match between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre, this saw Orton defeating McIntyre to become a 14-Time WWE Champion.
In-Ring Segment: Drew McIntyre
McIntyre says he’s been trying to think of the words to best express how he feels losing the WWE Championship to Randy Orton. McIntyre says he has no excuse but one promise, he will be WWE Champion again. He then quotes Rocky and says “it’s not about how hard you get hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward”. McIntyre says he will continue to fight. He then talks about getting thrown off the cell last night. He says if people knew what was going on in his head they wouldn’t think he was in a good mood, they’d be scared of what’s going on up there. Here comes The Miz.
McIntyre tells him he just messed up. Miz tells everyone to give Drew an encore. McIntyre tells them to choose their next words wisely. Morrison says they were just coming out to congratulate him. McIntyre tells them he will drop them where they stand. Miz and Morrison continue to poke at McIntyre. Miz then tells McIntyre that he won’t have to worry about facing Randy Orton because he is a 2-time Mr. Money In The Bank and he is going to be WWE Champion. He reminds everyone how he beat Randy Orton for the title the first time he had the briefcase. He then has Morrison remind everyone it happened here in Orlando.
Miz goes over what happened and then tells how after he beat Orton he celebrated with his future wife. He then says he could beat Orton again like that because he is on a Moment Of Bliss tonight. He then tells McIntyre if he was still champion they would jump him and he would be in the same situation he is in right now. They then continue to poke at McIntyre. Morrison tells him he hopes it won’t take him 19 years to get the title again. McIntyre now hits Miz with a headbutt. He now goes after Morrison. He then throws Morrison across the ring. McIntyre goes back after Morrison but Miz takes out his knee. Miz and Morrison are able to get away. McIntyre then breaks Morrison’s sunglasses. McIntyre then says he has an idea for Miz and Morrison and it won’t be a good night for them.
My Opinion:
I have fun confidence that McIntyre will find his way back to the top. He had a heck of a first run with the title and he has a lot to be proud of. I don’t think it will take too long for him to get that title back and he can actually have some fan reaction this time. Even without the title, you know McIntyre will still be in this main event picture and he won’t be going away. I hope there is a big plan to this and it will pay off big for Drew because he deserves to continue to fight for the title or at least be in the title picture. I also loved Miz and Morrison playing off of McIntyre. They entertain every time and they are a great addition to Raw.
***Drew McIntyre will face The Miz later tonight!
In-Ring Segment: AJ Styles
Styles gloats how he is two 2-0 since coming to Raw two weeks ago. Styles tells that he is dominating everyone who steps in the ring with him. He says it is the return of the Phenomenal Era. He says he is sure Raw missed him, everyone missed him. Styles then asks why he is in a qualifying match for the Raw Survivor Series team. He then asks if he hasn’t proved himself not just here but all around the world. He asks who he is proving this too. He says not only should he be on the team but he should be the captain of Team Raw. He says he will lead them to the promised land because he is the face that runs the place. He then says his associate doesn’t like to be looked at or talked too, that is a warning. He then talks about Jeff Hardy and calls him the biggest cheater in history. He brings up how Hardy “illegally” hit him with the knee brace over the summer. He then tells Hardy if he tries to do what he did to Elias then his associate will make Hardy wish he never put down that bottle.
Match 1: AJ Styles vs Jeff Hardy:

Styles goes right after Hardy and is able to get Hardy to stumble early on backing him to the ropes. Hardy then slides out of the ring and baits Styles. Hardy gets Styles to the floor, he then looks to fly but he is caught by the associate of Styles as Raw goes to break.

Styles gets Hardy in a torture rack and hits a rack bomb. He covers but Hardy now kicks out. Styles looks for the Styles Clash but Hardy reverses. Styles now reverse a Twist Of Fate. Styles now misses on a kick. Hardy tries another cover but can’t put him away. Hardy hesitates now because of Styles associate. This helps Styles as Hardy slips up. Hardy tries to fight off Styles but he is sent into the ring post. Styles now dumps him in the ring. Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm and gets the 1 2 3. Styles will be on Team Raw at Survivor Series.
***After the match, Elias comes from behind and hits Jeff Hardy with the guitar. Elias then stands over Hardy and taunts him.
Winner: AJ Styles: Team Raw Member At Survivor Series
My Opinion:
A great match between these two, I always love the heart these two bring out in each other. We constantly see them hit each other with everything they have but for both men, it is always hard to get the upper hand. Styles having his associate on the outside really seemed to be a contributing factor to this win. As I said last week with how good Styles is it’s almost going to be impossible to beat him with that threat on the inside of the ring being as great as the threat on the outside of the ring. For Styles, I’m very excited to see where this goes for him and he sure could be the face of Raw in the future. For now, he will be a great addition to the Raw team as Styles always has great showings at Survivor Series. For Hardy, this was a tough loss but it seems it is time to forget about that and focus on Elias because Elias seems like he is out to not just beat Hardy but end him.
Backstage Segment: R-Truth
Sarah asks R-Truth about his title defense last night and how everyone tried to get their hands on him. Truth says everyone tries to get their hands on his baby. He then says they all have a tag team match tonight and he will be out there to scout and let them know if they want him he is right there. Sarah then asks if that is a little dangerous. Truth says being 24/7 Champion is dangerous, he then jokes that danger is his middle name.
Match 2: Akira Tozawa & Drew Gulak vs. Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik)
Tozawa stops Dorado in his tracks and then hits him with a punch to the jaw. Gulak comes in and keeps the pressure on Dorado. He covers but Dorado kicks out. Gulak now wears down Dorado grinding his hand on his face. Dorado is able to fight back but now everyone is distracted as R-Truth makes his way to ringside. Tozawa tries to steal a pin but Truth kicks out. Truth now gets in the ring. Dorado now tries to cover but Truth but he is pulled off. Gulak now covers but Truth now kicks out. Dorado now takes down Gulak and covers him to get the 1 2 3 to win the match.
Tozawa tries to get the title but Metalik breaks it up. He now tries to cover Truth but that is broken up. Gulak now tries but Truth is able to get away.
Winners: Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik)
My Opinion:
Things continue to heat up for the 24/7 Championships. Everyone involved in this certainly makes the best of it and it always is entertaining. R-Truth has been an amazing champion and I’m not sure anyone but him could keep this going as long as he has. I’m glad we get to see Truth every week and I’m glad this title has given guys like Drew Gulak a chance to be on tv every week. I’m always curious to see what they do next as you never know what will happen with Truth and this title.
Backstage Segment:
We see Huskus the Pig as the Firefly Fun House is next!
Firefly Fun House:
Wyatt welcomes everyone to their very mad tea party. Ramblin Rabbit says last night was great, why are we mad? Wyatt says it’s not that kind of mad. Alexa Bliss now arrives and brings tea. Ramblin Rabbit asks Blis what is in the tea. She goes over the ingredients and then says there is a special ingredient, arsenic. Ramblin Rabbit then presumingly dies after drinking the tea. Wyatt says I’m mad, you’re mad, we’re all a little mad down here.
Bliss asks how he knows she is mad. Wyatt says that’s the only reason you would come down here. He says he comforts you and protects you and there is only one thing you have to do. Bliss then looks up with red eyes and says let him in. Bliss then says the fun is just getting started because tonight she interviews WWE Champion Randy Orton on A Moment Of Bliss. Wyatt then gets a crazed look in his eyes. Ramblin Rabbit wakes up but Wyatt smacks him with his giant mallet. Wyatt and Bliss then laugh and Wyatt says he can’t wait to see Randy Orton on A Moment Of Bliss. Wyatt and Bliss then tell everyone bye and wave to the camera.
My Opinion:
Another great episode of this. Bliss and Wyatt together have been awesome and it has added a whole new element to this character. Wyatt has been amazing and the fact he has been able to make “The Fiend” a staple in WWE speaks to how powerful the character is. Just like I did in the beginning I’m still so excited every time I see that there is going to be something happening on the show with Bray Wyatt. I do think Wyatt has to be one of if not the most entertaining characters in WWE. He and Bliss certainly could be the faces of Raw. I think it would be cool too if Bliss became “The Fiend” as well in her matches.
Backstage Segment: Keith Lee
Charly asks Keith how he bounces back from a loss after questionable tactics from his opponent. Lee says there is nothing questionable about it. Lee says Braun couldn’t beat him so he hit him with a low blow. Lee says Braun calls himself a monster but he will show him a monster the next time they face. He says not tonight though because tonight is about him beating Elias. He then says he is going to go walk with Elias.
Backstage Segment: Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler & Adam Pearce
Nia tells Adam that it’s great the men are having qualifying matches for Survivor Series. She tells him the women won’t need that because she is the captain and she has a list of who she wants on the team. Adam then tells her she is not the captain. Shayna says that is right because she is and she has a list of her own. Nia then asks her why she is not on her list. Shayna tells her she had to do what was best for the team. Adama says he will take it under consideration and let them know by the end of the night. Shayna asks Nia if she is on her list and Nia says “wouldn’t you like to know”.
Match 3: Elias vs Keith Lee:
Winner Joins Raw’s Men’s Team At Survivor Series
***Before the match, Elias tells how he has put Jeff Hardy behind him and tonight is about facing Kieth Lee. Elias also hypes up his new album and says it is #2 on the charts. Elias tries to sing a song for Keith Lee but he is cut off as Lee makes his way to the ring.
Elias starts off the match trying to out muscle Lee but Lee fights back and stops Elias with a huge crossbody. Elias hangs up Lee on the ropes. He then kicks him as Lee is on the outside. Elias now runs at Lee but Lee hits him in mid-air and heaves him over the announce desk as Raw goes to break!
As Raw returns, Elias tries to fight out of the grip of Lee. Lee hangs on and now works his arm as Elias goes to a knee. Lee also grabs the hair of Elias for leverage. Elias now fights back with punches to the gut. Lee looks for the spirit bomb but Elias fights out. Elias now hits Lee with a knee and Lee goes to the floor. Elias now sends Lee into the ring post. Elias keeps up the attack and then gets Lee in the ring. He hits the double ax handle but it is not enough to put Lee away.
Elias tries to put Lee away again but he still is unsuccessful. Elias tries to stay on Lee but Lee fights back. Lee is able to grab Elis and land a big slam. Lee now tosses Elias across the ring. Lee throws Elias into the corner. Elias gets his feet up and is able to back off Lee. Elias now hits Drift Away but he doesn’t seem to get all of it. Elias tries to put him away but Lee is still in this one. Elias goes up top but now we hear the music of Jeff Hardy. This allows Lee to now grab Elias. He then hits him with the spirit bomb. He covers and gets the 1 2 3.
***After the match, Jeff Hardy hits Elias in the back with the guitar and gets his payback from earlier.
Winner: Keith Lee: Team Raw Member At Survivor Series
My Opinion:
This was actually a very hard-hitting match between these two and I loved it. I didn’t know what to expect going into this but Elias was actually able to really hang with Keith and he could have potentially won that match with the Jeff Hardy distraction. Obviously, Elias still has to worry about Jeff Hardy but for Keith Lee, he is on to Survivor Series. Keith Lee put on such an amazing showing last year and I feel he will do the same this year. He is a great member for Raw and as long as he keeps his head in the game and off of Braun Strowman he will be good to go. I really hope this Survivor Series is a time where Keith Lee can remind everyone exactly who he is.
Backstage Segment: The Hurt Business (MVP & Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley & Cedric Alexander)
The Hurt Business talks things over. MVP then stops someone and asks them why he didn’t ask them to use their bathroom. The guy is visibly scared as he tries to explain. MVP and The hurt Business then laugh as the guy runs away. The Hurt Business faces Retribution next!
Backstage Segment: Randy Orton
Charly congratulates Randy on his win last night. She then asks him if he is concerned about an appearance from “The Fiend”. Randy tells how he walked out of hell last night as a 14-Time WWE Champion. He says he doesn’t care if it’s The Big Dog, The Fiend, or the former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. He says that they should be concerned about him.
In-Ring Segment: The Hurt Business (MVP & Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley & Cedric Alexander)
MVP tells that when Retribution first showed up on Raw everyone fled in terror except for The Hurt Business because they don’t run. Lashley says they looked at Retribution as an opportunity. He says Monday Night Raw is an asset to them and Retribution is a liability. MVP then says they take care of liabilities. He says after they fulfill their agreement with Raw Management when they take out Retribution they will be coming for their payment. Shelton says they want it in gold.
Match 4: The Hurt Business (MVP & Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley & Cedric Alexander) vs Retribution (Mustafa Ali & T-Bar & Mace & Slapjack):
8-Man Tag Team Elimination Match
T-Bar and Lashley lock up and Lashey is able to back him into the corner Lashley takes the fight to T-Bar and hits him with big strikes. T-Bar tries to fight back but Lashley is able to back him down. Lashley then gets leverage on the second turnbuckle and continues with the big right hands. T-bar comes back with a big boo and gets in control. Lashley fights back with a big shoulder tackle. T-Bar again tries to fight back but Lashley stays on him and hits him with a flat liner. MVP tags in and hits T-Bar in the gut with big rights and lefts. T-Bar fights back with a knee to the midsection.
Mace now tags in and brings MVP to his feet. He now toys with MVP and shakes him around. Slapjack now tags in and hits MVP with a dropkick to the neck. He covers but MVP kicks out. Slapjack now wears down MVP in the corner. MVP fights back and sends Slapjack face-first into the corner. MVP takes down Slapjack and tries to cover but it is broken up. Reckoning now creates a distraction as she screams to get it off of her. She rolls around in the ring and continues to say get it off of me. MVP is distracted and he is rolled-up for the 1 2 3. She continues to roll around in the ring and they call for help as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, we see that Reckoning was just faking her problems but she was told to leave the ringside area. Now we see Slapjack trying to fight off Lashley. Lashley gets him in the corner and then runs at him but he is met with an elbow. Slapjack gets Lashley in the corner but Lashley comes right at him with a huge spear. He covers and gets the 1 2 3. Slapjack is eliminated. T-Bar and Lashley now go at it on the floor. The two continue the fight over the barricade. They both get counted out and are eliminated. We are now even at 2-2. Alexander takes it to Mace but Mace is able to easily knock him down. Mace now hits him with a back elbow in the corner.
Mace hits him with a big right hand and drops him. Alexander now tries to get a tag. Alexander fifths back but Mace stops him. Alexander knocks down Mace and then knocks down Ali. Alexander breaks the grip of Mace and tags Benjamin. Alexander hits the neuralizer. Benjamin hits paydirt. He covers and gets the 1 2 3. Benjamin grabs Ali and hits a big fall-away slam. Alexander now comes in and gets Ali in the corner. Alexander hammers on the back of the neck of Ali. Ali fights back with a dropkick to Benjamin but this doesn’t slow down Alexander who hits him with a back body drop. Ali now on the floor grabs a chair and his Alexander with it. Ali is disqualified. Ali hits Alexander once more. Benjamin then comes at Ali and Ali runs away. The rest of The hurt Business now comes down to grab Alexander.
Winners: The Hurt Business (MVP & Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley & Cedric Alexander)
My Opinion:
This was a pretty good match between these two groups and they certainly match up well together. With Retribution, I think people have an issue with their names and their masks but behind that, these are great Superstars who certainly can be a power group if used correctly. Although, I’m not sure why Retribution keeps coming up short. I mean for as much destruction as they were causing they surely aren’t living up to it in the ring. I thought Retribution would be powerful for a while and they have to have a team face them at Survivor Series but instead, we already see they are very beatable. I’m curious to see where this goes next but right now The Hurt Business is the group who is killing as they have been for a long time now.
Backstage Segment: Angel Garza & Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke & Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler
Angel Garza comes up to Mandy and asks how she is doing and how Otis is. He asks her if she and Otis are still close. Mandy says Otis has had a rough 24 hours but they are still close. Garza then asks Dana. Nia and Shayna come up and Nia tells Garza to save it. She then tells Dana and Mandy they need to talk about Survivor Series. Nia says if you find yourself on our team. Dana cuts her off and talks about how they are undefeated and how Nia and Shayna better watch their backs. Nia and Shayna then laugh this off. Baszler then asks Nia, “seriously, Garza?” As Nia smells the rose Garza gave her.
Match 5: Drew McIntyre vs The Miz w/ John Morrison
Morrison tries to provide a distraction but McIntyre isn’t phased and takes it right to Miz. McIntyre beats down Miz and taunts him in the corner. Miz goes after the knee again and it slows down McIntyre. The two go to the floor and McIntyre momentarily gets the best of Miz. Miz turns it around by sending him into the steps. Back in the ring, Miz stays in control. He is able to keep going after the knee. He hits a DDT but it’s not enough to put McIntyre away. McIntyre gets in the corner and tries to fight back but Miz keeps going after the knee of McIntyre and again leaves McIntyre in pain. McIntyre fights back and launches Miz across the ring after he takes back control in the corner. McIntyre now on the floor grabs Morrison after Morrison tries to get involved. McIntyre sends Morrison flying. He then tosses the Money In The Bank briefcase. McIntyre gets in the ring and hits Miz with a Claymore Kick. He covers and gets the 1 2 3.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
My Opinion:
First, this was a great win for McIntyre as he gets back on the right track. McIntyre really had to pull out a gutsy performance in this one and battle back not only against the 2 on 1 but also his knee not being 100%. Miz was actually impressive to me as he did show that he could take on someone like McIntyre and be able to wear him down and get him on the ropes. Sometimes we forget that Miz has been a main eventer and could pull off wins like this. Nonetheless, this is all about McIntyre as he tries to find his way back to the WWE Championship.
Backstage Segment: The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
Kofi and Woods impersonate The Street Profits. They bring up Survivor Series and tell how Champions will take on Champions. Woods says he gets to take on King Corbin for the title of King Of The Ring. Kofi says no, we are facing The Street Profits. Asuka comes up and says we want the smoke. Kofi then tells how Asuka will take on Sasha Banks, Asuka then shows her dislike for Asuka. They then show that Randy Orton will take on Roman Reigns. The Hurt Business comes up and MVP tells how Bobby Lashley will take on Sami Zayn and for good measure, they will be coming for the tag titles. Asuka tells them they will try and fail. She then does a New Day Rocks chant with Woods and Kofi.
Backstage Segment: Drew McIntyre
Charly congratulates Drew and asks him if this is the first step on maybe reclaiming the WWE title. Drew says this can be the first step he then says he doesn’ care how many steps it takes he will get his WWE Championship back. He then says with Randy Orton on a Moment Of Bliss, it will be a moment for Randy but not a moment of bliss.
In-Ring Segment: Adam Pearce & Pat Buck
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are introduced by Adama Pearce as the first picks for the Raw Women’s Survivor Series Team. Pat Buck then introduces Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke as the second members. Adama goes to announce the fifth member but Nia stops him. She says he should let the captain announce the fifth member. Adam stops her and tells her that the fifth member will be decided by a Fatal-Four Way Match. He then introduces the competitors Lana, Lacey Evans, Peyton Royce, and Nikki Cross.

Royce now goes after Cross but she is now knocked to the mat. Evans gets back up there and grabs Cross but now Royce slams all three down. Lana slips in now after the other three women are down. She covers and gets the 1 2 3.
***After the match, Lana goes to the floor and the four other members of Team Raw clap for her. Lana then hugs Nia. Nia grabs Lana and once again for the 6th time puts Lana through the announce desk.Winner: Lana: Team Raw Member At Survivor Series
My Opinion:
Once again Lana finds a way to win and she had the best strategy in this match. She may get lucky but sometimes you want that on your side. This Raw team looks pretty good and it will be a chance for a lot of the members on Team Raw to step up and show what they are capable of. Survivor Series has always been about people breaking out and showing what they are made of so I hope we see that here. We have Dana, Lana, and Mandy who are all looking to be stars on Raw and a very good performance at Survivor Series could put them in that category.
Backstage Segment: Randy Orton
Charly asks Randy if he will still be on A Moment Of Bliss after the threat from Bliss and Wyatt. Orton says yay. Charly questions this again but Orton says he will be on there. Charly tells him it seems like he is walking into the lion’s den. Orton says if there is an appearance from The Fiend he will put him down with the most destructive letters in WWE, RKO.
Backstage Segment: Retribution (Mustafa Ali & Mace & T-Bar & Slapjack & Reckoning)
Ali says Retribution is not family, they’re not a team, they are a mission. He says the good men and women that stand beside him are willing to sacrifice everything for that mission. He says they win when you suffer. He says they decide when you get shut down.

Winner Joins Raw’s Men’s Team At Survivor Series

Riddle now goes after the arm and wrist of Sheamus. Sheamus fights back with an Irish curse backbreaker. Sheamus now gets Riddle on the apron and pounds on his chest but Sheamus doesn’t get his full move in before Riddle counters with an armbar. Riddle now hits a kick and gets Sheamus on the floor. He flies and takes him out as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, Sheamus has Riddle down on the mat after he took over during the break. Riddle fights back with a series of forearms. Sheamus now fights back with a backbreaker. Sheamus now wrenches on the face of Riddle as he always controls his arm. Riddle slaps Sheamus and battles back with a kick. He now hits an overhead kick. Riddle fires up and takes Sheamus down. He lands a kick to the chest and then a bro-ton. He covers but Sheamus kicks out. Riddle now hits Sheamus with a forearm. Sheamus comes back with a huge knee strike. He covers but Riddle is able to kick out. Sheamus goes up top and looks to fly. Riddle gets to his feet and meets him up there. Riddle looks for a suplex but he shoved back down to the mat. Riddle gets back up and once again meets him up there. Riddle now hits the exploder and covers but Sheamus kicks out. Riddle now goes up top again and goes for the Floating Bro. Riddle doesn’t stick the landing as Sheamus gets his knees up. Sheamus now beats down Riddle. Sheamus goes for another Irish Curse backbreaker. Riddle fights off and gets a submission locked in. Sheamus has to fight him off. Sheamus now misses on the Brogue kick. Riddle hits a German suplex and a bridge for the cover, Sheamus kicks out. Sheamus stays in this one and hits the Brogue. He covers and gets the 1 2 3.
Winners: Sheamus: Team Raw Member At Survivor Series
My Opinion:
What a match these two had. That had to be the match of the night and one of the best ones I’ve seen lately. These two hit each other with everything that they had and it was so back and forth that there was no telling who would win this one all the way down to the final seconds. Riddle certainly had to impress with the way he held his own against someone with the stature of Sheamus. Sheamus though showed his veteran presence and ultimately weathered some amazing offense to get this win. With this win, Sheamus showed exactly why he should be on Team Ream because he can take punishment, dish it out, and get the job done.
Backstage Segment: Randy Orton
Randy Orton gets ready for his appearance on A Moment Of Bliss next!
A Moment Of Bliss: Hosted By Alexa Bliss w/ Randy Orton
Bliss says her guest went to hell in back last night defeating Drew McIntyre inside Hell In A Cell. She then welcomes the new 14-Time WWE Champion Randy Orton. Alexa tells Randy he can take a seat, she promises she won’t bite. Orton says he thinks he will stand. Bliss tells him to suit himself. She asks him if he was surprised with his win last night. Orton says last night wasn’t a surprise but he asks Bliss if she has any surprises for him. Bliss says no surprises but then mentions how Randy and Drew burned the house down last night. Randy says there it is, burned the house down. Randy tells Bliss that he knows Bray Wyatt better than anyone and he knows he is close. He then asks her where is The Fiend.
Here comes Drew McIntyre. McIntyre goes right after Orton and beats him down. He then tears apart the Moment Of Bliss set. Bliss sits in the corner and laughs. McIntyre now looks for a Claymore kick but the lights go out and the music of The Fiend plays. The red lights come on and Orton is on the ramp as McIntyre stands in the ring. Orton looks behind him and there is The Fiend. Orton walks away from The Fiend and back down towards McIntyre. McIntyre tells him to bring it and the two go at it the two continue to brawl with The Fiend looming in the background. Orton and McIntyre now fight all around ringside. McIntyre has the upper hand but Orton battles back and throws McIntyre off the announce desk. Orton hammers on McIntyre as Raw goes off the air.
My Opinion:
This was a great way to end the night! First of all, Alexa Bliss is killing it in this role. She is perfectly fit for this and I bought into every word. That was such good storytelling between her and Orton it was perfect. I loved Drew coming out and keeping good on his promise. He and Orton certainly have unfinished business and I love that Drew isn’t backing down and is going to be right on the heels of Orton. I also loved The Fiend coming out. This is good tease here and a match that would be awesome to see. The Fiend and Orton could go on and tell another amazing story together. Having Orton back away from The Fiend was another nice touch as well. As we saw at the end of the night this fight between Orton and McIntyre may never end but I’m here for it!
SURVIVOR SERIES TEAM:
RAW MEN’S TEAM:
AJ Styles
Keith Lee
Sheamus
***More to be added
RAW WOMEN’S TEAM:
Nia Jax
Shayna Baszler
Dana Brooke
Mandy Rose
Lana
Final Thoughts:
A decent night for Raw as Hell In A Cell is put in the past and the road to Survivor Series has begun. All three matches for the men’s team qualifiers were excellent. I thought the stakes really made everyone step up and we saw some very competitive matches. I was a big fan of Elias and Keith Lee because I really didn’t know how they’d mix in the ring but they did it very well. Also, Sheamus & Matt Riddle absolutely tore the house down! Team Raw is shaping up to be very good and it will be interesting to see who the last two members will be and how SmackDown will have. I also like the women’s team we have. As I said this is a huge opportunity for many of the members to step up and show that they can be stars on Raw for a long time to come.
Some of the other matches we heard like The New Day taking on The Street Profits and Randy Orton taking on Roman Reigns. Survivor Series is shaping up to be a good one so far. Then we get to some of the main highlights of the night that being Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and then Bray Wyatt with Alexa Bliss. Drew kicked off the show in style as he always does. I loved that he didn’t back down and he handled his business getting back on the winning track and showing he won’t stay down. The ending to the night I loved. Orton and Bliss did very well telling that story. Bliss was doing amazing in this role. I loved McIntyre keeping his word and coming after Orton and now we have The Fiend looming in the background. This was an amazing ending and I can’t wait for what’s next!!! As always I hope everyone stays safe and healthy this week and enjoys NXT: Halloween Havoc, and SmackDown!
Overall Rating: 5.5/10
