In Ring Segment: Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie welcomes everyone and tells that as Commissioner she has to make a lot of decisions. She says that she needs true leaders that can help her execute those decisions like the GM of Monday Night Raw. Stephanie then introduces Kurt Angle.

She asks who is Jason Jordan, Kurt says he’s my son. Stephanie asks what makes him a valuable member. Kurt says he’s very talented. Stephanie then reminds that John Cena is the final member of Team Raw. Stephanie says that Kurt either chose Jordan over Cena, or he was too embarrassed to be on Team Raw. Stephanie tells him she’s gonna give him another chance and asks what’s the first thing he’s gonna do at Survivor Series. Kurt says he’s gonna break her brother’s ankle. Stephanie tells him that Shane is gonna let everyone else do his dirty work. She says that she thinks Kurt is soft and she made a mistake naming Angle as captain. She tells that nothing Kurt has said has changed her mind. She says that she wants SmackDown gone. She says he has no other choice but is interrupted by The Shield.
Dean tells Stephanie that there is no better leader than Kurt Angle and says Angle still has it. Stephanie says he may still have it but questions Ambrose and Rollins on losing their titles. She then asks them if they are competing at Survivor Series or not. She then goes on to ask Roman Reigns where he’s been, Reigns then asks her where she’s been. Reigns then says that maybe in her time off she forgot how this is run but they don’t do what she tells them to do. Reigns then says they want to fight The New Day. He says if they have any balls and except then they will be booked at Survivor Series. Reigns says Kurt will lead Team Red and they will whip The New Day.
My Opinion:
This was a good way to open the show. It good seeing Reigns back and seeing The Shield get right back into things. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Stephanie tonight, she seemed to just be complaining and it dragged on and didn’t click for me. It’s the same stuff a different year, but The New Day versus The Shield will be a good match.
Match 1: Bayley vs Mickie James vs Dana Brooke:
Winner will be the Fifth Member of Raw’s Women’s Survivor Series Team
All three women lock up. Mickie gets the advantage and flips Bayley and Dana. Mickie is dragged out of the ring by Bayley. Bayley goes for a cover on Dana but Dana kicks out. Bayley hits the Bayley to Belly on Mickie and gets the 1 2 3.
Winner: Bayley:
Fifth Member of Raw Women’s Survivor Series Team.
My Opinion:
This was a pretty good match. I like Bayley winning because it makes the most sense. I think Bayley will be a good addition to the team but it will interesting to see how the match goes since Asuka needs to be protected and look strong. I was really hoping to see Paige back tonight and have her be the fifth member because it definitely would have been a good shake up instead of leading us to the team we could’ve figured out since the start.
Match 2: Enzo Amore & Drew Gulak vs Kalisto & Akira Tozawa
Tozawa starts off with Gulak. Gulak works the arm of Tozawa and holds him on the mat. Enzo comes in and blindsides Tozawa. Gulak and Enzo double team Tozawa. Kalisto gets the tag and sends Enzo and Gulak to the floor as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, Gulak has Tozawa on the mat. Tozawa fights to his feet and tries for the tag. Tozawa hits Gulak with a right hand a big kick but Gulak stops him from getting the tag. Kalisto gets the tag and so does Enzo. Kalisto takes it to him and catches him with a kick. Kalisto hits a crossbody and Tozawa gets the tag. Tozawa hits him with a missile dropkick. Kalisto and Tozawa both fly to take out Gulak and Enzo. Tozawa throws Enzo back in the ring and hits him with a huge kick. Enzo sends Kalisto to the outside and capitalizes on Tozawa. Enzo is able to take down Tozawa and gets the win for his team.
Winners: Enzo Amore & Drew Gulak
My Opinion:
This was an okay match. I think they need to add more people to the cruiserweight division because it’s getting kinda old with the same four people now over and over. Hopefully, something new will come after Survivor Series and the excitement will come back to the division.
Backstage Segment:
Kurt tells Team Raw that he’s not taking any chances. He tells Joe and Balor they are gonna team up tonight to make sure they get along. He then tells Jason Jordan he’s facing Bray Wyatt. Strowman says he wants Kane. Angle makes the match for the main event tonight.
In Ring Segment: Miz TV w/ Cesaro & Sheamus
Miz welcomes everyone. Miz tells about Baron Corbin and tells that he keeps ruining opportunities. He says there is a level that he is on and a level that Corbin is on and he just can’t compete. He says he takes advantage of opportunities and tells how he will be facing The Shield tonight with his guest Cesaro and Sheamus.
Miz congratulates Sheamus and Cesaro on winning the tag titles back. Sheamus says it was no surprise because they keep their eyes on the prize. Cesaro says all they cared about was taking back what belongs to them. Cesaro says they took advantage of the opportunity and now they are three-time Raw Tag Team Champions. Sheamus says they are the real tag team champions of the WWE, unlike The Usos. Miz tells the crowd to be quiet as they break out in you look stupid chant. Sheamus says they are the A-Team tag team champions, they are the Raw Tag Team Champions and at Survivor Series they’re gonna jailbreak The Usos penitentiary. Miz chimes in and says tonight they will break The Shield. Miz says they are the champions and this is their moment. He tells that the happy reunion tour ends tonight. Cesaro ends with saying we don’t just set the bar we are the bar.
My Opinion:
This wasn’t a bad Miz TV. I think some of the stuff is getting repetitive but this did its job. It’ll be awesome to finally see The Shield in a match again tonight. Both teams can use the momentum heading into Sunday so it’ll be interesting to see who goes over.

Jordan lands a huge spear in the corner and lands a big belly to belly suplex. Jordan goes to the outside and tries to spear Wyatt but Wyatt moves out of the way and Jordan crashes into the barricade as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, Wyatt has Jordan grounded on the mat. Jordan works to a vertical base but Wyatt sends him back to the mat and hits a running senton. Wyatt stomps on Jordan and toys with him. Wyatt continues to work on the left knee of Jordan. Wyatt lands a huge kick and follows with a uranage. Wyatt looks for Sister Abigail but Jordan rolls him up and gets the 1 2 3.
*** After the match Wyatt attacks Jordan. He hits a big clothesline on the outside and slams Jordan’s leg against the ring post.
Winner: Jason Jordan
My Opinion:
This wasn’t a bad match. I was glad to see Bray back and I’m glad they let him attack Jordan after the match so he could gain his edge back after being gone. I liked Jordan facing Wyatt as it was unique and fresh. I think Wyatt looked strong but Jordan showed his smarts and showed he can be a strong member to represent Raw.

He says this is the first time in history the Universal Champion faces a WWE Champion and it’s the first time Lesnar will face AJ Styles. His next selling point is he wants to see Brock Lesnar versus AJ Styles. He tells how he’s never seen him step into a ring with anyone who claims to be better than Lesnar. Heyman tells about Styles and how he’s mastered speed. He then goes to his next point which is that Styles is the single greatest in-ring performer of this generation. Heyman says that Styles has to come from behind and be the ultimate underdog because he’s gonna step into the ring with Brock Lesnar. He tells that Lesnar will show he’s the number one champion in WWE then, now and forever. His fourth point he makes is that if you want to see a Rocky movie come to life it’s AJ Styles. He tells about the victories Styles has recorded this year. He gives selling point F5 and says styles can’t survive the onslaught of the beast. He says that Styles will be beaten, victimized and conquered by Brock Lesnar.
My Opinion:
Great promo by Heyman. I loved how he played to the crowd and really sold this match. I can’t wait to see Lesnar versus Styles, I think it could be one of the best matches of the year. One thing I really liked tonight was how happy Lesnar looked to be there. I can’t wait to see him wrestle again and against Styles it’s gonna be insane. I think Lesnar will ultimately beat Styles but I think Lesnar will be tested and Styles will put on a good showing.
Match 4: The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose) vs
Sheamus & Cesaro & The Miz
Rollins and Cesaro start off the match. Cesaoro works Rollins but Rollins hits a nice takedown. Cesaro lands a big kick and an uppercut to follow. Cesaro hits a clothesline on Rollins. Winners: The Shield
My Opinion:
Awesome to see The Shield teaming. They look very strong heading into Sunday and I think they can beat The New Day. I loved the teamwork form The Shield and tonight they showed what a real team looks like. It’ll be interesting to see if The Shield stays teaming after Survivor Series but either way, it’s been entertaining to watch them back together.

She tells him to make the announcement now. Out comes Triple H!
Triple H tells Kurt that if he won’t make the announcement then he will and announces he will be the fifth member of Raw’s Survivor Series Team!!!! Triple H then hits the Pedigree on Jason Jordan.
My Opinion:
OMG! What an announcement, I can’t believe Triple H is gonna be on the team now. This Survivor Series is shaping up to be something very special. I loved that right there and it really pushes forward the point that Raw is in this to win. The excitement is in the air and this is how you get people interested. I love this decision, I think Jordan is great but this is a whole new game with Triple H on the team.

My Opinion:
That was good but I don’t like that Raw ended that way. That was a little bit of a letdown and definitely didn’t deliver like it should’ve. That’s cool that they went through the ring but in my opinion, the show should’ve ended with a fight with the SmackDown Team.
Final Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this Raw, it was a great way to lead into Survivor Series. I love the decision to put Triple H on the Raw team. This really sets forth the importance of Raw winning and how bad they want to win. The Shield returning to action together tonight was awesome. They proved that they are on the same page and no doubt will be ready for The New Day. Samoa Joe and Finn Balor showed they can work together and do it well which is what Team Raw needs. Bayley being added to the Women’s team is a good addition as well. I would’ve liked to see Paige return and be named to the team but hopefully she’ll be back after Survivor Series. Overall tonight’s show really brought Survivor Series together. Obviously after tomorrow night we will know the official card but for now this show looks amazing. I can not wait for Sunday!!!
Overall Rating: 7/10
