RAW REVIEW 02/17/2020
Tonight after Randy Orton tried to take out Matt Hardy last week and potentially end his career, what will he have to say about his actions and will Hardy be able to compete against him in a No Holds Barred Match? Plus, who will win when two heated rivalries collide in one match as Humberto Carrillo and Rusev team up to take on Bobby Lashley, and Angel Garza? Also, what is next for Becky Lynch after she was attacked by Shayna Baszler last week? Finally, what will happen when “The Monday Night Messiah” Seth Rollins holds a sermon live on Raw?
Raw comes to us from the Angels of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington
Raw kicks off with us being welcomed by Jerry “The King” Lawler and Vic Joseph
In-Ring Segment: Randy Orton
Orton gets in the ring and then points to the screen showing the video from last week when he attacked Matt Hardy who confronted him over Orton’s attack on Edge. After the video is shown, Orton tells how tonight he is supposed to face Matt Hardy in a No Holds Barred Match but after last week that is not going to happen. He tells that Matt is still in the back trying to get cleared but given what happened last week it is not going to happen. He tells how the Hardy’s are known for jumping off ladders and doing crazy things but it is still not going to happen. Out comes Matt Hardy.
Hardy tells him to stop talking about him and answer why he did what he did to Edge smashing his surgically repaired neck. Hardy asks him what the hell is wrong with him. Hardy tells how Orton didn’t like him asking and wanted to make him feel how he made Edge feel. He tells how Orton tried to take his passion away but Orton can’t do that because he is not ready. He says he came here to fight Orton but to the surprise of no one, the doctors won’t clear him to compete tonight. He says he is a man of his word and he is here tonight and like Edge he has grit. He says Matt Hardy will not die and you can know him down all you want but he will always get back up. He says he doesn’t know what’s next for Matt Hardy but it won’t end on Orton’s terms, it’ll be on his own. Orton tells him he should’ve said goodbye last week when he could still leave the arena on his own two feet. Hardy gets in the ring and Orton asks him what he is going to do. He calls him a sitting duck and asks him what he would do if he RKO’d him right where he stands. He then tells now one will understand what he did. Orton tells Hardy he will always respect him and he respects Edge and he loves him like a brother. Orton then says he is sorry. He says again he is truly sorry. He then exits the ring.
As Orton stands on the top of the ramp he takes off his vest and turns around. Hardy then grabs a steel chair and gets back in the ring. Orton walks down to the ring and comes to the apron staring down Hardy. Hardy swings the chair but misses. Orton then hangs him up on the top rope. Orton then gets in the ring and watches Hardy struggle to his feet. Orton then hits him with an RKO. Orton then grabs the chair and tee’s off on Hardy. He then takes the chair and drives it into the gut of Hardy. Hardy gets to his knees but is laid out as Orton strikes him in the back. Orton leaves the ring and grabs another chair. Referees come down to try to stop him but Orton doesn’t listen. He takes the neck brace off of Hardy after placing a chair under his head. Orton grabs the other chair and looks to strike Hardy but stops and throws the chair out of the ring. Orton then grabs the neck brace and throws it down. Orton leaves the ring but then runs back around and pulls Hardy to the outside throwing him to the floor. Orton clears the steps and places Hardy on the bottom step. Orton places the other step next to it and stands on it while holding the steel chair. Orton then crushes Hardy’s head on the steps with the chair. Orton then comes back and grabs a chair again and smashes Hardy’s head once more. He screams at Hardy he is sorry before walking away.
My Opinion:
This was an eerie but a really good start to Raw because it was something that made you feel. Orton plays this role so well and this side of him is something that can’t be stopped. It’ll be interesting to see just how far Orton goes and who he will be coming after next. We haven’t seen this intense version of him in quite some time but I’m glad it’s back. It’ll be a matter of time before someone comes and stops him but right now no one seems to be safe.
Match 1: Erick Rowan vs Aleister Black
Black runs at Rowan and hits him with a knee. Rowan gets in control and throws him to the apron. Black is able to send him to the outside and hit him with a kick. Black flies off the apron but has to land on his feet as Rowan moves. Rowan then hits him with a crossbody on the floor. Back in the ring, Rowan goes for the cover but Black kicks out. Rowan then hits him with a kick and takes control in the corner. Rowan connects with a dropkick and tries another cover but still can’t put Black away. Rowan then knees him in the back and goes to a submission. He then crushes Black’s head with his fists. Off the ropes goes Black and Rowan takes him down. Rowan hammers on him in the corner and keeps control. Rowan places him over his knee and stretches Black. He then works a bear hug and wrenches on Black. He tries for an elbow but Black moves and creates an opening.
Black lands kick and then hits Rowan with a series of strikes. Rowan comes back and drives Black into the apron. He covers but again Black kicks out. Rowan sends him into the corner and stomps on him. Rowan goes outside and brings Black out there with him. He then throws Black into the barricade. Rowan again sends him off the barricade. Black is able to send Rowan into the ring post and again create space. He comes off the top and hits Rowan with a moonsault. Back in the ring, Black hits him with a kick and then more strikes. Black lands a huge knee strike and Rowan goes down. Black covers but Rowan kicks out. Black looks for Black Mass but Rowan catches him. Black lands an elbow but Rowan comes back with a big move of his own. He then lands a huge kick and Black goes down. Rowan though still can’t put him away. Rowan now looks for the Iron Claw but Black fights out and hits Black Mass. Rowan is dazed after the move and Black hits the move once more. He covers Rowan and gets the 1 2 3.
Winner: Aleister Black
My Opinion:
For both Superstars, it was good to see them in there competing against each other and both of them getting a competitive match this week. For Black, this is a huge win and statement made by him. Black had to fight through a lot of offense but once again he picked his spot and found his opening. This isn’t a good momentum builder for Rowan heading into next Thursday. It’s been a while since we have seen him lose but I’m sure this won’t sit well with him. Of course, Black won’t be there next Thursday but we are on the Road To WrestleMania and I hope he finds that person to pick a fight with and create a rivalry for the ages.
In-Ring Segment: Charlotte Flair
Flair tells how last night she was in Portland at NXT Take Over to be exact. She then shows the video from last night when she attacked Rhea Ripley and accepted the challenge for WrestleMania (Charlotte will face Rhea for the NXT Women’s Championship). Flair says she went last night because she wanted to see who was filling Rhea Ripley’s head with the idea that she could come on Monday Night Raw and challenge the Queen. She tells how she was impressed last night and then reminisced about her time in NXT and her class that built the foundation of what is now known as the third brand NXT. She then tells how she bothered by the people in NXT now being entitled and she asks who Rhea is holding up the title on Raw that she put on the map. She tells Rhea she is going to humble her at WrestleMania. She says everyone is the next big thing until they’re not, WOO.
My Opinion:
I’m really excited about this match as I think these two will take each other to the limit. It’s very intriguing to have the NXT Women’s Championship defended at WrestleMania and for NXT this is huge. With NXT as the third brand, this will more than certainly solidify that and I hope NXT continues to be included and treated as just as important. There is so much talent there and these cross-brand matches every now and again pay off huge. I also like the idea that NXT is the wildcard and you never know where they will show up. They are making a huge impact on the wrestling world and NXT is thriving!
Match 2: R-truth vs Mojo Rawley vs Riddick Moss: Triple Threat Match for the 24/7 Championship (24/7 Title Rules Suspended for the match)
Rawley goes right after Moss. Truth then takes advantage and goes after Rawley. Eventually, Moss gets back in control and hammers on Truth in the corner. Moss lifts Truth and slams him down to the mat. He covers but Rawley breaks the hold. Rawley brings Moss to the outside and throws him into the barricade. Truth gets back in control and takes down Rawley as he gets back in the ring. Truth hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle and then looks for the AA but Rawley turns it around and slams Truth down to the mat. Moss comes in and rolls up Rawley. Moss gets the 1 2 3 and retains the 24/7 Championship.
*** After the match Rawley grabs Truth and asks do you see what you did. Truth then hits him with a kick and lays him out.
Winner: Riddick Moss: Still 24/7 Champion
My Opinion:
This was a quick match but I’m glad the 24/7 title got some showcase again. Of course, they need to get more people involved with this again but for now, at least it is seen and defended. Being champion has given Moss a big opportunity and once again he pulls off a big win and definitely is someone who can continue to make an impact. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next with the title and this rivalry. The 24/7 title much like the Women’s Tag Team Championships is mainly forgotten about but the only way to remind people is to keep putting it out there and making it entertaining.
*** WWE Elimination Chamber Announcement: Women’s Elimination Chamber Match with the winner facing Becky Lynch at WrestleMania for the Raw Women’s Championship (Participants: Natalya, Liv Morgan, Asuka, Sarah Logan, Shayna Baszler, Ruby Riott)
In-Ring Segment: Drew Mcintyre
Before his match Mcintyre says he sees everyone is fired up tonight which could mean one thing, there’s only 48 days until WrestleMania. He then has the whole crowd point at the WrestleMania sign with him. He then tells that Suplex City is now located in Claymore Country and at WrestleMania, he’s invading Suplex City, demolishing it to the ground and leaving WrestleMania WWE Champion. Out comes Paul Heyman.
Heyman comes out and does his normal introduction. He then calls out Brock Lesnar but then says did you really think he was here? He says no he just wanted Mcintyre to hear what it’s going to say like after Brock Lesnar defeats Drew Mcintyre at WrestleMania. Mcintyre tells him he can say his name over and over and he can Lesnar’s name when he’s crying after he kicks his head off and beats him. Heyman says he didn’t come here to debate him and admires’ his talents but he has a man who doesn’t admire his talents and he is his opponent tonight. He then introduces MVP. Here comes MVP.
MVP tells Drew that Mr. Heyman might not have an issue with him but he does, a big issue. He tells how he invited him to the VIP Lounge and treated him with the respect of an elite VIP member and what did he do? Mcintyre says kicked your head off. MVP says it was a cheap shot and tonight he won’t hit a cheap shot, he’ll see this coming. MVP then attacks him before the match officially begins.
Match 3: Drew Mcintyre vs MVP
The match starts and Mcintyre hits him with a big right and takes him down to the mat. He then hammers on MVP in the corner. Mcintrye takes control and is able to hit the Future Shock DDT. Mcintyre then starts the countdown and then connects with the Claymore Kick. He covers and gets the 1 2 3.
Winner: Drew Mcintyre
My Opinion:
On the mic, Mcintyre definitely seems very calm, cool, and collective and the talk may seem dangerous for someone about to face Brock Lesnar because there should be some more urgency. However, in the ring, Mcintyre is more dominant than ever and he is running through his opponents. Mcintyre seems poised to win this match but obviously anything can happen. I hope though this will be his big break and he will capitalize and everything he has been saying. There’s no doubt these two are going to have a hard-hitting contest and it’s going to be awesome!
In-Ring Segment: Becky Lynch
Lynch says she has been feeling a lot of things over the last week. She tells how she came to this country to seek her fame and fortune but she has no use for fame. She says she did find what to do with fortune though and throw money on the mat. She warns the WWE to take all the money they want because bad things are going to happen when she finds Shayna. She then tells how animals bite their prey to weaken them before they take them down. She tells that she is not prey and tells Shayna she is coming after her not because she has to but because she wants. Shayna comes on the screen and tells Lynch how this is going to happen. She tells about the Elimination Chamber Match and tells how she was a cage fighter so this set up for her. She tells Lynch how she is going to take her title at WrestleMania and says last week what she did she didn’t plan to do so imagine what she can do. She tells Lynch she is going to tear the shit out of her. Lynch says she will be rooting for her.
My Opinion:
I’m definitely going to be pulling for Shayna in this one because this is a match I want to see! Of course, we have had a taste of it but with this kind of build-up and an actual one on one format, I can’t imagine what these two will do. Just like I expect Lesnar and Mcintyre to be a fight, I expect the same from this one. Lynch seems very focused on getting her revenge and Baszler is the perfect heel because she is just here to destroy. There is no doubt this is going to be good!
Backstage Segment: Lana & Bobby Lashley & Zelina Vega & Angel Garza
Charly comes up to Lana. Lashley, Garza, and Vega and asks how this tag match came to be. Lana says what would be better than the two hottest couples teaming up and it will be like a double date. Vega tells how they are two of the hottest people but not a couple. She says this is strictly business. Garza says he is her for her business acumen and there is no woman who can tie down this ladies man. He says Humbert Carrillo will find out this is something no man can measure up to.
Match 4: Rusev & Humberto Carrillo vs Bobby Lashley w/ Lana & Angel Garza w/ Zelina Vega
Carrillo is able to get the early advantage on Lashley after Garza did not want to start the match. Lashley is able to get in control and take Carrillo to the mat. Lashley brings Carrillo to the corner and tags in Garza. Garza works the arm of Carrillo. Garza stays in control with a big chop. Carrillo comes back after a big splash off the ropes. Carrillo lands a deep arm drag and stays in control. Rusev then comes in and takes a cheap shot on Lashley. Garza is able to come back with a big dropkick. He takes off his pants as he does and throws them at Rusev. He runs to the outside and after giving a fan a kiss he turns around and is taken down by Carrillo who flies to the outside as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, Garza hits Carrillo with a big kick to the back. Lashley tags in and takes a shot to the midsection of Carrillo as Garza holds him. Lashley stays on him and brings him to a vertical base. Lashley lifts him but Carrillo is able to fight off. Carrillo looks for the crossbody but he is caught. He fights off again but once more is caught as he tries to get a tag. Finally, Carrillo is able to fight off and tag Rusev. Rusev comes in and hot and takes it to the newly tagged Garza. He launches him and goes for a cover but Lashley breaks it up. Rusev then tees off on Lashley in the corner. Garza tries to steal one but Rusev kicks out. Garza then lands a big kick and tries another cover but Carrillo breaks it up. Garza is sent to the outside and then taken out by Carrillo. Carrillo then gets run over by Lashley. Rusev comes around the ring and lays out Lashley. Garza is thrown back in the ring and Rusev goes up top. Lashley stops him and it allows Garza to get to him. Rusev fights him off and hits a flying headbutt. Rusev covers but Garza kicks out. Rusev misses on the Accolade but connects with a big kick. Lashley provides a distraction. Garza rolls him up and uses the tights to get the 1 2 3. After the match, Rusev lays out Garza.
Winners: Bobby Lashley & Angel Garza
My Opinion:
That was a very competitive match between these two teams but obviously it’s tough when there’s so much bad blood and tensions run high. With Rusev we haven’t seen him in a while now and he seems to be very distracted still. He will get a shot at Lashley again but it’ll be interesting to see if Rusev will be able to put him away and what exactly will be enough for him to end this rivalry. For Garza, he continues to shine and right now has learned to do what he has to do to get a win. With that mindset and Zelina Vega by his side, it’s going to be hard for Carrillo to put him in his place.
Backstage Segment: Asuka & Kairi Sane
Asuka and Kairi Sane head to the ring as Sane will face Natalya, next!
Match 5: Kairi Sane w/ Asuka vs Natalya
The two lock up and Natalya and gets around on her. She brings her to the mat but doesn’t stay in control long as Sane gets in control. Sane comes off the top and then micks Natalya. Natalya looks for a clothesline but Sane avoids. Natalya slaps her and looks for a suplex which she hits. She covers but Sane is able to kick out. Natalya looks for the Sharpshooter but Sane gets to the ropes. Sane now hits a spinning back fist. She covers but Natalya kicks out. Sane now rakes at the face of Natalya. Sane now works a submission and keeps Natalya grounded on the mat. Natalya works to her feet but Sane jumps on her back. Natalya is able to work Sane off her back as she drops to the mat. Natalya hits a back elbow but Sane comes back as she sends her into the middle turnbuckle. Sane comes at Natalya but Natalya hits her hard and drops her to the mat. She covers but Sane kicks out. Natalya gets distracted by Asuka and Sane drops her to the floor. As the ref checks on Sane, Asuka hits Natalya with a huge kick. The ref starts the 10 count and eventually as she is unable to get up Natalya is counted out.
Winner: Kairi Sane: Count Out
My Opinion:
Natalya got robbed out of this one big time but I think she is learning she is going to need backup because two on one is hard to combat. Right now Sane and Asuka seem very content and they pretty much do as they please. Natalya hasn’t gotten on much of a role in a while but she needs to start if she has a chance at winning the Elimination Chamber.
In-ring Segment: Seth Rollins & AOP (Akam & Rezar) & Murphy
Murphy says let introduce to you the man who single-handedly saved Monday Night Raw, The Monday Night Messiah, Seth Rollins. Here comes Rollins. Rollins thanks Murphy for the kind introduction and thanks the crowd for making him the man he is today and making him their Monday Night Messiah. Rollins says he didn’t ask for a sermon and it was decided by the powers that be. He says he just asked for a for minutes to come out here and talk but sermon seems appropriate for what he has to say. He then tells that we are here to celebrate progress, the future, and moving forward in his vision and all of our vision. He says phase one countered some resistance but they completed phase one last week when they vanquished Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and The Viking Raiders. He says they proved that through sacrifice, dedication, and devotion you can achieve whatever you set your mind to. He says he doesn’t take the responsibility of being the Monday Night Messiah lightly, he takes it very very seriously. He then adds that phase two of this movement will not be easy but it is necessary and it is for the greater good. He says now it is time for them to seek out the weak, the lesser than, the non-compliant. He says they must find the flaws in the system and rehabilitate them if they can and eradicate them if they must. He says this isn’t a promise, threat, or warning, this comes from his heart and his gospel. He says if there are any Superstars who remain un compliment they will suffer the same fate as the weak. The Viking Raiders then come out and hit the ring attacking AOP as Rollins and Murphy escape. Rollins though sends Murphy into the ring as he heads up the ramp. Murphy and AOP are taken care of in the ring. Owens then comes out and hits Rollins with a stunner on the ramp.
My Opinion:
I liked this tonight because in this long-standing rivalry all we got was a taste and sometimes that’s all you need. For Owens and The Viking Raiders the time for talking is long over and tonight they made the statement they needed to. Obviously the war is not over and the fight will continue but they need to start getting wins and continue to show their dominance.
Backstage Segment: Seth Rollins & Murphy & AOP
Charly tells Rollins it seems his sermon didn’t go as planned. Rollins says these men around him are the only ones who give him the respect he deserves. He says if Owens and the Raiders want to fight, they will fight Murphy and the AOP tonight.
Styles says feast your eyes The Phenomenal AJ Styles is back on Monday Night Raw. he then asks what WrestleMania would be without him. Gallows tells him he is at his best, no he is phenomenal when it’s WrestleMania season. Anderson tells Styles he is the new Mr. WrestleMania. Styles says that is sweet and says being the humbled man he is he can honestly say he is the greatest Superstar on any roster or in any ear. He then questions people who say he is not as phenomenal as he says he is. He says when he wins the gauntlet match no one can say anything except for him and he is going to say who’s next? He says he doesn’t care who it is as long as the WWE Champion is available and who cares who that is, Lesnar, Mcintyre, Ricochet, Roman Reigns, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Razor Ramon, Kevin Nash, or the whole NWO he’s better than all of them. He says when he proves his dominance at Super ShowDown. He is then cut off and here comes Ricochet.
Styles tells Ricochet he was just being nice and no one thinks he can actually win the WWE Championship. He then asks Ricochet what he did to earn a championship match. Ricochet says he earned his shot and he will beat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. He then says since they think that’s funny how about he face Styles right here right now. Anderson tells him easy and tells Styles he can’t let his first match back on Raw be against this non-good brother. Anderson then accepts the challenge.
Match 6: Ricochet vs Karl Anderson w/ AJ Styles & Luke Gallows
Anderson takes it to Ricochet early but Ricochet uses his quickness to get back in it. He hits a dropkick and sends him to the outside. Ricochet then flies to the outside to take down Anderson. Back to a vertical base, Anderson hits him with an uppercut. Ricochet fights back with a big kick to the face of Anderson. Ricochet comes back and hits a big crossbody off the ropes. He hits a standing shooting star but Anderson kicks out of the cover. Ricochet goes up top and goes for the 630 but Anderson moves out of the way. Ricochet hits a big boot but Anderson comes back with a spine buster. Anderson still can’t put him away. He looks for a suplex but Ricochet fights off. Ricochet then hits a superkick and then drops Anderson with a big double knee strike. He covers and gets the 1 2 3.
Winner: Ricochet
My Opinion:
First, it’s good to have AJ Styles back on Raw as he is always entertaining and gives some of the best matches we are able to witness. Styles for sure will be set up for a huge match at WrestleMania, and I for one hope he has one of those dream matches. As for the match, Ricochet fought hard in this one as Anderson didn’t make it easy. Of course, Ricochet struggling against Anderson isn’t a good sign when he has Brock Lesnar waiting for him. Ricochet picks up a key victory but right now I think he would feel better if he dominated that match rather than just survived.
Backstage Segment: Liv Morgan
Charly asks Liv how she reconciles Ruby’s attack on her, and on her character. She says she was as excited to see Ruby return after her battle with injury and just as surprised as anyone with her return. She says she was excited to have her come out and celebrate with her but she then betrayed her and Sarah’s friendship. She says not long ago it would’ve broken her but not anymore. She says in her future she is eliminating Ruby Riott from the chamber and she is moving on to a championship match at WrestleMania.

Erik comes in and he and Ivar double team Murphy. Finally, Murphy makes the tag to Akam. Akam and Erik go at it and it’s Erik who gains the edge and gets him the corner. Ivar tags in and Akam is sent into the knee to Erik. Ivar doesn’t stay in long as Erik is tagged in again. Akam comes back with a power slam and then hits him with big rights and lefts. Rezar tags in and he and Akam double team Erik who is hit with a big knee strike. Akam tags in and hits Erik with big knee strikes, Rezar provides some of his own. Akam then drives his boot into the throat of Erik. Murphy tags in and hits Erik in the back. He lands a snap mare and then hits him with a big kick. He covers but Erik kicks out. Murphy now turns to a submission hold keeping Erik on the mat. Erik fights to a vertical base and tries to break the hold. Murphy doesn’t allow it and brings him to the corner again. Akam comes in and he and Rezar work a double team again. Erik fights back after sending Rezar to the outside. Akam is hit with a knee strike and this allows Erik to tag Owens. Murphy also got the tag but Owens takes it to him laying him out with a clothesline and then a senton.
Owens stays in control and hits a backbreaker. Owens comes off the ropes and crashes down on Murphy. Owens now brings Murphy to his feet and throws him off the ropes. Murphy lands an elbow but Owens connects with a huge right hand dropping Murphy. Ivar tags in and so does Rezar. Ivar takes down Rezar and then lands a crossbody. He then takes down Murphy with a big kick. Rezar tries to fight back but Ivar hits a seated senton. He then takes down Akam. Erik tags in and he and Ivar continue to keep Rezar down. Owens tags in and hits a senton but can’t get the three on the cover. Rezar is able to hit a clothesline and drop Owens. Murphy tags in but Owens gets over on him and hits a pop-up powerbomb. Still though he can’t put Murphy away. Ivar and Erik take out the AOP on the outside. Owens drops Murphy but as he tries to put him away Rollins interferes. Rollins now directs traffic as they beat down Owens 4 on 1. Owens grabs the microphone and tells Owens this is what he said would happen if you stood in the way of progress and impeded his vision. Rollins tells Owens he has crucified him since day one and now it is time for them to crucify Owens. Here comes The Street Profits.
Murphy is taken down and Dawkins and Ford then take down the AOP. Rollins is cornered but he leaves the ring. AOP gets back in the ring and the brawl is on. Owens hits a Stunner. Ivar lands a big splash on Akam and Ford hits a splash of his own on Murphy. Owens, the Viking Raiders, and The Street Profits stand tall.
Winners: Kevin Owens & The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
My Opinion:
A solid tag match to end the night with the usual chaos and back and forth it brings. I still think things need to be shaken up some as it seems we are seeing the same fight or version of it week after week. The story is progressing though and after the match was over and we had some fireworks so to speak. It was good to see the Street Profits get this opportunity and they ran with it. This is very intriguing now that Team Owens has the numbers games and I’m very curious to see if Rollins will try to find more members now. This will continue to develop and should only get better!
Final Thoughts:
Raw was decent tonight with a lot of good development and overall a good pace to the show. It got off to a good start tonight with Randy Orton once again laying out Matt Hardy because it really as I said made you feel and makes you wonder what Orton will do next, to whom and how far will he go. This side of Orton is so intriguing and he is someone you want to tune in each week now and see what he will do next. I loved the verbal showdown with Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler tonight, both seem intent on beating one another and it’s going to lead to magic at WrestleMania if Shayna wins at the Chamber. As I said if this does happen this one is going to be a fight and a good one at that! It was good to see AJ Styles back tonight and as I said I really hope he is set up for a dream match at WrestleMania. Given how good he is in the ring he can make magic with anyone and he is the perfect guy to give someone another shot to get back in the ring. We had some competitive matches throughout the night and that carried to the main event. Even though we have seen these guys go at it over and over they continue to do well when they are put in the ring together. After the match was very exciting and it was very interesting to see the tides changing with Team Owens having the numbers game now. Rollins will have to acquire more members and this will continue to unfold and get more exciting as the weeks go on!
Overall Rating: 5/10
