*** After the match Bayley attacks Lynch as Baszler walks away.
Winners: The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane):
Still WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions
My Opinion:
The Kabuki Warriors hang on in this one with a little help from all the distractions at ringside. I think Asuka and Sane are on a roll as of late and whoever does beat them is really going to have to step up but hopefully, they actually get people to step up and we will see more tag teams come to be. For Lynch, she obviously has a tall task ahead of her and when she thought Baszler was the one to worry about she has obviously very much overlooked Bayley and it’s the chip on Bayley’s shoulder that could actually give her the advantage heading into Survivor Series.
Backstage Segment: The O.C. & Ricochet & Humberto Carrillo & Randy Orton
Ricochet and Orton and Carrillo talk backstage but The O.C. comes in and tells Ricochet to get out of here. Styles says he would love to challenge them to a three on two matches but they have a bigger problem with Mr. RKO outta nowhere over there. He tells Ricochet and Carrillo to find someone who would team but with them to take them on. Orton comes up and says something tells me they won’t have to look that far. Orton then lays down the challenge.

He tries a cover but Mcintyre kicks out quickly. Mcintyre catches him with a headbutt and is back in control. Mcintyre then pounds on him with right hands. He hits him with a clothesline and tries a cover but Sin Cara kicks out. Mcintyre goes for a headlock but here comes Sin Cara for a moment before Mcintyre drops him again. Sin Cara again tries to battle back hitting him in the knee and then with a dropkick. Sin Cara is able to send him to the outside. Mcintyre stops him and drops him to the floor with a powerbomb. Mcintyre brings him in the ring looks for the Claymore. Mcintyre hits and drops him. The cover and the 1 2 3.
Winner: Drew Mcintyre
My Opinion:
Mcintyre dominated this match but it’s no surprise with the roll he has been on. Hopefully, for him, he will continue his winning ways and be able to earn a shot at something big in the future. He has been scratching and clawing ever since he’s come back and he is well overdue for his shot to be the top guy. For Sin Cara, it has come out that he has requested his release so whatever comes next for him hopefully he finds what he couldn’t in this company.
Backstage Segment: Erick Rowan
Rowan says it’s gonna be a good day, daddy is going to have a good day. He continues to talk like he’s talking to his child and asks who loves you…
Match 3: R – Truth vs The Singh Brothers (Samir & Sunil)

Truth is able to get the upper hand early and take it to both the Singh Brothers. The numbers game catches up and they are able to beat down Truth. They work Truth in the corner and keep the advantage. Truth is thrown into the corner but her comes Truth sending Samir into the ring post and then hitting Sunil with the kick. They run into the locker room and are met by Erick Rowan who takes them down to the ground. He then hits them with a couch. Truth walks in and sees Rowan, Truth then says y’all need privacy and turns off the lights for them.
Winner: No Contest
My Opinion:
The 24/7 Championship definitely has cooled down from what it was but hopefully, it will make its way back into the spotlight. It’s a title that could have someplace on every show and I hope they get back to that. There’s a lot of interesting and fun concepts they could do with the title the time just needs to be invested more than it is right now.
In-Ring Segment: Seth Rollins
The crowd is against Rollins and he tells them to bring that energy. He tells about last week and how he didn’t know what was next for Seth Rollins and then tells about Triple H knowing what was next for him. He tells how he took on Adam Cole but by the end of the night, Triple H showed his true colors. He tells that Triple H has lit a fire in him. He says NXT is where he started but this is his home and this is his show. He says NXT started this fight but at Survivor Series he and his gang are going to finish it. He says Survivor Series is still a few weeks away and wants to talk about tonight. He says he thinks he is the best wrestler on the planet and he doesn’t get that way taking nights off. He says he wants to face the United Kingdom’s best and he won’t leave the ring until he gets what he wants. Out comes Imperium!
Walter tells Rollins he wanted the best well here we are. Walter introduces himself and Imperium. He says they are here to restore the honor of their sport because that mat is sacred to them. Walter tells him just because he is not in the United States doesn’t mean you are safe from the NXT takeover. Rollins tells him he saw the stunt he pulled on SmackDown. Rollins says the title may say that he’s right he is the best. He accepts the challenge and tells him to get his ass down to the ring so he can burn it down.
My Opinion:
I think it was very important for Rollins to issue this challenge tonight because he is at a point where the crowd seems to be against him and without a title he has to go out there and show once again what he can do. It sucks that someone like Rollins has to go through this again but he has to go back on the long road to get the crowd behind him. Facing formidable opponents like Walter will definitely help build up his popularity once again.
Match 4: Seth Rollins vs Walter
Walter works a headlock and is able to take Rollins down to the ground. Walter works another takedown and tells Rollins to get to his feet. Rollins gets around on him but is backed off. Walter hits him with a big shot and stays in control. Rollins fights back with a series of chops and kicks and then a big sling blade. Rollins lands a shoulder to the gut but Walter comes right back with a big German suplex. Walter slam Rollins and then splashes on Rollins. He tries a cover but Rollins kicks out. Walter works a chin lock and has control on the mat. Rollins fights to his feet but Walter drops him with one chop. Walter works a Boston crab and puts all his weight onto the back of Rollins. Rollins fires up but Imperium comes in the ring and attacks Rollins to end the match. Out comes The Street Profits to help out Rollins. Imperium takes to them and the numbers continue to take its toll. Now here comes Kevin Owens! Owens even the odds and now with a fair four on four the ring is cleared!
Winner: Seth Rollins: Via DQ
Match 5: Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs Imperium (Walter & Alexander Wolfe & Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel)
Rollins takes it to Wolfe but he is sent to the outside and then sent into the steps by Barthel. Walter now takes it to Rollins and drops him spine first on the apron. In the ring, Walter works the legs of Rollins. Wolfe tags in and locks in a chin lock on Rollins. Rollins is able to fight to a vertical base and looks for a tag but Wolfe holds him back. Wolfe lands a German suplex into a pin but Rollins kicks out. Barthel comes in and hits Rollins with a big right hand. He hits Rollins with big kicks in the corner and then drives his boot into the chin of Rollins. Aichner tags in but Rollins fights him and Barthel off. He is then hit with a spinebuster and then a big kick. Rollins kicks out of the cover. Walter tags in lands a big kick to Rollins who is tied up in the corner. Walter stays on him and continues with punishing strikes. Rollins fights out of a sleeper and is able to knock down the members of Imperium. Walter hits him with a dropkick and then a powerbomb. Owens comes in to break it up. Things break down and Walter goes up top but Rollins meets him and hits a suplex. Rollins now fights off Wolfe and then Aichner. Owens gets the tag and comes in hot. He hits two superkicks and then goes up top to hit a senton on Wolfe. He goes for the cover but Walter breaks it up. The Street Profits get involved and beat down Walter. Walter is then hit with a superkick from Rollins. Ford lays out Walter on the outside. Dawkins gets dropped in the ring but Owens comes in and hits a Stunner. Wolfe then gets hit with a Stomp and Rollins is able to get the 1 2 3.
Winners: Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford)
My Opinion:
We just saw two great matches with a lot of star power right there. First, I loved seeing Imperium on Raw and on SmackDown, they’re a group comprised of amazing talents and it’s time for the whole world to get to see what they can do. It was great to see Kevin Owens back in action and hopefully, he will get back to how hot he was before. For the Street Profits, they continue to shine and do big things as they have been. Finally for Rollins, he has to continue to battle as I said and hopefully, a big showing at Survivor Series can turn around this rough patch with the crowd.
Match 6: Andrade w/ Zelina Vega vs Cedric Alexander
Andrade backs Alexander to the ropes and is able to land a series of strikes. He lands a huge forearm and rocks Alexander. In the corner Andrade takes control but Alexander fights back and is able to land a huge dropkick. Alexander springboards off the ropes and is hit with a dropkick. Andrade then beats on him on the mat. Andrade works the arm but Alexander is able to create some space. Alexander works a dropkick and is in control. Alexander hits a shoulder tackle and continues the offensive with an elbow dropping Andrade to the floor. Alexander flies and hits Andrade. Back in the ring he hits the flat liner and goes for the cover but Andrade kicks out. Vega provides a distraction and this allows Andrade to get back into the match. Andrade lands the Hammerlock DDT and gets the 1 2 3.
Winner: Andrade
My Opinion:
Another win for Andrade as he continues to get it done in the ring and shows he is more than capable and ready for something big. We see him week in and week out getting the job done and against good opponents so hopefully this is recognized and they will act on it. I think the combination of him and Vega really works and together and the sky’s the limit for them if used right. There is no denying the role Andrade is one and I feel like he’s only scratched the surface of what he can do. Also, props to Alexander for going out there every week and always putting up a fight. I love what he can bring and always entertains.
Aleister Black:
Black says he has spoken about sins, insanity, and being condemned. He says he has even spoken in riddles but has he spoken of secrets. He then tells that tonight he is going to speak a prophecy. He says he knows who you are and what you have done so knock on his down and pick a fight with him.
Backstage Segment: Lana & Bobby Lashley
Lana and Bobby Lashley argue. Lana then storms off as Raw goes to break.
In-Ring Segment: Lana
Lana says she has come out here to confess her sins. She says that her hot beautiful boyfriend who happens to be the love of her life, Bobby Lashley, didn’t want her to come out here and talk about this. Lana says she always honest and tells she would rather be hated for who she is than who she is not. She then tells that she cheated on Rusev. She says Rusev cheated on her first and she wasn’t going to sit around like a doormat. She says 7 weeks ago she had sex with Bobby Lashley for the first time. She tells how after being hit off the apron last week she is perfectly fine, she is a perfectly healthy woman who is 9 weeks pregnant. She then goes over the math and explains that this is Rusev’s baby. She then goes on a rant about Rusev and now here comes Rusev.
Rusev questions her and Lana asks why he is surprised because he is a sex addict. He questions the things she has said as of late. She then gets mad and says he is calling her a liar. Rusev says no don’t go there. They then argue and Lana slaps him and then slaps him again and again and again. Out comes Bobby Lashley.
Lana rakes the face of Rusev and this gives Lashley the upper hand as he lays out Rusev. Lashley and Lana then go up the ramp. Lana says I can’t believe he thought I was pregnant.
My Opinion:
I don’t know what to say on this one… This storyline continues on and I think tonight is a clear indication this isn’t going to work. They have backed themselves into a corner with this one and it just needs to end. It isn’t getting anyone anywhere and it’s the kind of story that doesn’t work in today’s day and age. I don’t know how this will end, I kept saying I hope this will do something big for Rusev but this is just getting somewhat out of hand. It’s not good it’s been a low spot of what has been very good Raw’s as of late. Not to mention this has completely destroyed Lana’s character and embarrassed Bobby Lashley and taken someone who has all the potential in the world, Rusev, and now put him in a very awkward position.
Backstage Segment: Erick Rowan
Rowan heads to the ring carrying a covered cage.
Match 7: Erick Rowan vs Soner Dursun
Before the match, Rowan places that cage on the announcer’s table. The match begins and Dursun hits him with a right but is immediately dropped. Rowan tells him to stay down. Dursun gets up and then is shoved over the ropes. Rowan goes to the outside and runs him over. Rowan locks in the claw and then lifts him to hit him with a huge slam. He goes for the cover and gets the 1 2 3. After the match, Rowan asks Lawler and Joseph if they touched which both say no. He then takes the cage and walks away.
Winner: Erick Rowan
My Opinion:
Rowan gets the win but it sucks that it feels like he is starting over. He had such a hot angle month back and now here he is trying to regain who he was. It would have been an easy transition to keep him where he was and bring him into Raw as a contender but of course, now he is back to the drawing board. I feel like Rowan is another one of those guys who is going to be stuck fighting to prove himself even when he has indeed proved himself time and time again.
Backstage Segment: The Viking Raiders
Erik and Ivar prepare for their match, next!
Match 8: The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster
Webster is able to land a big knee and get the advantage. Webster gets caught but Andrews tags in and is able to help. The two of them then fly and takedown Erik and Ivar. Andrews is able to fight off Erik and stun him. Webster comes in and flies to land a big shot to the back but Erik kicks out of the cover. Erik lands a big forearm and then grabs Webster and now Andrews slamming them to the mat. Ivar then tags in and lays them out on the outside. Ivar brings them in the ring and lands a big splash to both. Erik and Ivar then land a big double team. Erik and Ivar go after Andrews but he is able to rock them with a kick. The Viking Raiders gets back into it and hit the Viking Experience on Andrews. Ivar covers and gets the 1 2 3.
Winners: The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
My Opinion:
Another win for The Viking Raiders and this time over much more formidable opponents. They continue to dominate and build more momentum towards Survivor Series. Right now they seem like the most dangerous tag team in WWE and we will see if anyone can stop them. One team on my map to do just that is AOP when they finally return.
Backstage Segment: Ricochet & Randy Orton
Ricochet comes up to Orton and asks if he thinks he is stupid. He tells Orton he knows the first chance he gets he will RKO him. Orton tells him to relax and tells him that the last thing he needs to do to himself right now is to let him get in his head.
*** Survivor Series Match: AJ Styles vs Roderick Strong vs Shinsuke Nakamura
*** Team Raw’s Survivor Series team will be Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Ricochet, Kevin Owens, and Drew Mcintyre
Match 9: The O.C (AJ Styles & Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) vs Humberto Carrillo & Ricochet & Randy Orton
Anderson and Ricochet kick off the match. Anderson takes him down but Ricochet uses his speed to get back into it and lands a big dropkick. Orton tags in as Ricochet works the arm. Orton takes over and now moves to the wrist of Anderson. Carrillo tags in and grabs Anderson but Anderson backs him into the corner. Styles tags in and now works the arm of Carrillo. Carrillo turns it around and uses the ropes to land a big arm drag. He lands another and then brings Styles to the corner tagging in Ricochet. Ricochet goes to the arm of Styles but Styles is able to get away. Styles runs into Orton but this allows Ricochet to land a high crossbody. Orton comes in confronts Ricochet for Styles running into. The two are separated as Raw goes to break.
As Raw returns, it’s Carrillo who lands a big move flying through the air and taking down Styles. He goes for the cover but Styles kicks out. Styles is able to make the tag and in comes Gallows to land big strikes on Carrillo. Styles tags in and lands a shot to the gut of Carrillo. Styles works a chin lock but Carrillo fights back. Styles grabs him and tags in Anderson. Carrillo lands a kick to Styles and takes down Styles but Anderson stays on him. Carrillo rolls through and tags Ricochet, Ricochet takes down Anderson. He lands a kick to Gallows and then a kick to Styles. Ricochet is hit with a superkick and Anderson then comes back and lands a huge spinebuster. Anderson now works Ricochet on the mat with a chin lock. Styles tags in and lands a kick to the gut of Ricochet. Gallows tags in and lands a snap suplex. Gallows then lands an elbow. Gallows continues the punishment and hits a leg drop. He goes for the cover but Ricochet kicks out. Gallows now works a chin lock and keeps control. Ricochet fights back and lands a big enziguri. Styles comes in and Ricochet hits him with a heel kick after a missed enziguri attempt. Carrillo tags in and takes down Styles with back elbows. Carrillo lands a big kick to the face and then hits a standing moonsault. Carrillo goes up top and goes for the moonsault but Styles moves out of the way. Orton tags in and lands a big power slam. Orton keeps the pressure on and looks for the RKO. Anderson jumps him and drops him. Ricochet comes in to even the odds but Gallows then takes him out. Carillo comes to the top and wipes out Gallows and Anderson. Orton stands over Ricochet but turns and hits the RKO on Styles Carrillo tags in and Carillo lands the moonsault. He goes for the cover and gets the 1 2 3!!!
*** After the match Orton and Ricochet stand with continued tension. Orton tells him he does what he wants, when he wants, whenever he wants, remember that.
Winners: Humberto Carrillo & Ricochet & Randy Orton
My Opinion:
This was a solid match to close out the night. There was a lot of talent in that ring and it showed big time. I loved Carrillo getting the win because he is the guy who needs it the most. He continues to impress in big situation and he just needs to keep building that resume and I can’t wait to see what he does next! For Orton and Ricochet, there is definitely a lot of tension there and this can lead to a huge match between these two!
Final Thoughts:
For tonight we saw a lot of matches which was great, first I loved Imperium being on Raw. Walter showed how dominant he is along with Aichner, Barthel, and Wolfe and I hope we see them get opportunities like this more and more. I even loved seeing Webster and Andrews on Raw because NXT UK is growing and the more people can see some of this amazing talent the better it’s going to do. I was also glad to see KO back in action and see The Street Profits continue to shine. Also, I was impressed again with Andrade because he continues to find ways to win and like I’ve said with Vega he is a dangerous competitor in there because she gives him a huge advantage to add to his impressive in-ring skill. I was glad to see the continued build-up for Lynch versus Bayley versus Baszler. I think this match has a chance to steal the show and them all seem ready to prove themselves. I wasn’t a fan of the Lana and Rusev segment tonight, like I said I don’t see this going anywhere and it just is putting people in bad spots and this saga has run itself into a corner. Finally, the main event tonight was really good. We had one true and powerful team and one makeshift powerful team. I was glad to see Carrillo get the win, this is huge for him as he continues to go up the ranks on Raw. It will be interesting to see if a Ricochet and Orton match comes out of this in the near future. Overall it was a decent show and I can’t wait to see the continued build-up to Survivor Series!
Overall Rating: 5/10
