My Opinion:
A brilliant match between these guys. They left it all out there and put on a main event. Lashley and Patron are such smooth workers in there. Their strength, agility, and smarts shined tonight. This could be one of the best rivalries going today. I know these two can down even more then they just did. I hope this is just starting and they go on to feud for a long time after this. Patron is a true wrestler and it’s great to see him on top. Patron isn’t a bad guy to have at the top.
Final Thoughts:
No this wasn’t the best pay per view I’ve ever seen, but I will say they delivered. First that main event was awesome. Lashley and Patron shined like true stars tonight. You can tell how much meaning this match had. Now Patron stands at the top of the two companies. Patron isn’t a bad guy to be the guy. Rosemary and Sienna also impressed me. They were able to create a back and forth match that had a lot of unique tactics in it. Some matches I thought could’ve been better were EC3 and Storm and Ki and Dutt. I was hoping for more hard hitting action. I felt some of the things were left uncompleted and it didn’t fully live up to the expectation. One thing that was awesome tonight was the athleticism that was on display, especially in the opening match. It is awesome to see how four different teams are able to create a match that keeps you on your toes and doesn’t put over one team more than another. JB and Josh Mathews were great as well. I have to say that match had a good relief. It was interesting, but also gave you a chance to laugh and get excited. This was a very good wrestling pay per view. I had a little of everything and I must say the promo packages were awesome as well. I think the storytelling leading up the event really played key. There was bug expectations, but I would say this one was better than last years and I hope Jarrett can turn this ship around and combine his the two companies and create a powerhouse again.
Overall Rating: 8/10
