This week we have received the sad news of the death of Bobby ‘The brain’ Heenan. A legend that will be truly missed in the wrestling world forever.

Paige is preparing for an in ring return and is expected to be returning very shortly to the SDLive brand. Paige has been out of action for over a year now and during this time she has been suspended from the company twice and had nudes leaked online, and her boyfriend formally known in WWE as Alberto Del Rio blatantly makes hate comments to WWE at every possible wrestling event while Paige is often at ringside. Not only is it a miracle that she still has a job in the WWE but the last few months before Paige left she was actually very unhappy and was thinking about leaving the company. The main reason Paige has not been fired is because The Rock is making a movie about her which is a pretty big deal. Paige will almost definitely receive a huge push when she returns to the blue brand and will likely take the title off either Natayla or Carmella. She is currently preparing for a return in the performance centre so she is expected to return in the next 3-6 weeks.

This week WhatCulture announced the departure of Adam Pacitti, Adam Blumpied, Ross Tweddell and Jack King. This has quite literally destroyed the company. These members of the company were the reason it became so huge and how they were able to make an actual wrestling company. The channel has lost an unbelievable amount of subscribers and the latest videos are getting more dislikes than likes. The members who have left the company are actually making their own company coming very soon.

Ziggler’s gimmick act on SDLive is leading up to a feud with Bobby Roode.

This weekend on NJPW world, Kenny Omega will defend the NJPW US Championship against Juice Robinson in a G1 rematch. This will be Kenny’s first match since his injury.

On Wednesday WWE sent out an online survey to all WWE Network subscribers questioning about a possible 2bd tier to the Network which would cost £20 but could include independent wrestling PPV’s, WWE’s own version of the Apprentice and Game of Thrones, downloading content on the go and even a TV14 Weekly show! This would for sure boost subscribers and be unbelievably entertaining but unfortunately due to profits most of these won’t happen.

I know it was a lot shorter than usual but for the next few months I will be unable to do full weekly’s every single week, however I will make sure I write one every week even if it is a lot shorter than usual.
