10 Reasons Why I Think Part Timers Are Great
People really underrate part timers, when they really should actually appreciate that part timing exists. If you’re one of those people, while reading this, please have an open mind and actually consider the logical/reasonable TEN points I’m making. I’m sharing with you many reasons I believe in to prove how part timing isn’t bad, but instead, beneficial!
Ten Reasons Why I Enjoy Part-Timers:
1. There would be less opportunities for returns. Let’s admit it, the majority marked out when The Rock, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg returned.
2. They wouldn’t actually matter as much when they actually do perform. For example, if Cena performed weekly now, would he be such a big deal compared to when he rarely shows up? Of course not. Considering the saying, “less is more”. When Cena has a match now, it just feels more important.
3. They wouldn’t be considered a big deal overall, and the big moments would not be so big. When Brock Lesnar shows up on Raw it can take an average Raw to a great Raw, that would not be the case if he was there every week.
4. If a part timer who is established is a champion, that title would automatically become relevant and prestigious.
5. If part timers were weak, and did not get pushed as much as they do, they would basically then be jobbers and wouldn’t even have to be part timers. Due to this you can always expect part timers to do something cool or special.
6. Example to number 5, if Goldberg for example lost more than he won, and wouldn’t be pushed as the dominant force that he is, then he wouldn’t matter that much at all.
7. If part timers were not a thing or would not be so strongly booked, ratings wouldn’t really boost as they would when they are announced to appear.
8. Example to 7, SD beat RAW last week in the ratings, and one of the main reasons why would be Cena’s (a part timer’s) return, as that as a bonus attracted many people to watch, and solidified the show more.
9. Also, if you think about it, part timers actually DO deserve what they are getting (or most at least), as they are big draws and help boost ratings for WWE, doing well for the company and all. So the money they get for doing so is totally fair, compared to a worker who performs weekly, yet does not draw like a part timer would.
10. Lastly, this had to be pointed out, most part timers do really deserve the push they are getting, as most or all part timers are wrestlers that have wrestled in the past for WWE, doing well for them before. Just because they NOW don’t wrestle weekly like others, that doesn’t mean they never did before.
